Alabama is an older country band that I grew up with. This song reminds me of the days of summer long ago, when I had very little responsibility other then going to school. I think about summer fun and lots of BBQ’s and bonfires. I like to play these for my kids to hear and love as well as the music from today.
Bartolini Original Bass Series
It looks like the 5 string bass pickups that I have found are in the price range from just under $100 all the way up to $200, which to tell you the truth is lower than I expected. Most of the money that got back from Uncle Sam last month is long gone but I managed to keep a bit of it for when I found the perfect 5 string bass pickup online.
This particular one, a Bartolini Original Bass Series, is about mid range and I think it will work quite well for what I want and need it for. It will be great fun to find something good in the mailbox instead of the usual junk mail and the endless stream of bills that manage to find there way there on a regular basis.
If I am not home when our mail carrier delivers it she will bring it all the way up the driveway and leave it by the door instead of down by the mailbox on the side of the road. Even though we live in the boonies things do go missing from time to time and our mail carrier does her best to keep that from happening to any of us.
Cinco De Mayo
On May the 5th every year everyone who needs an excuse to drink and have fun uses this Mexican holiday as an excuse. Add this to St Patrick’s Day and New Years Eve as days that I will not go out at all if I can help it. All of the armature drinkers are out and so are all of the cops looking to add to the DUI total for the day.
There is no need for all of this nonsense, I can celebrate on July 12th just as well and will not be in jail for DUI. I hope every one is safe today and when I get home from work I will be safe indoors.
Music
I have to have music to clean to. It helps me to clear my mind and get everything I need to done. My music usually depends on my mood. Sometimes I like to listen to Country music, but other times it is either R&B or Hard Rock.
If I am in a bad mood it is definitely the Hard Rock. The harder, the better. Some of my favorite artists include; Colt Ford, Luke Bryan, Metallica, Nikkie Manaj, and more. I like just about all genre’s of music, with the exception of polka. I am definitely not a polka person.
Dating Happens For Free
Can’t believe Wendy met so many great guys on our ski trip and I came up empty. Although that lawyer from LA was really nice, he was very very married and I’m not going there!
While I’ve got clothes in the dryer, I thought I would surf the net for the online dating sites. Then I ran across a site that reviews all the popular ones and gives you the basic info so you can zero in on the right site to meet your own needs or interest. Each one has a different approach to the methods and the processes to find the right special someone.
I thought about reading through some profiles or ads on a personal ad services site tonight – just to see if anyone looked worth contacting and maybe getting to know a little better. Not all of these dating sites let you do that.
I ended up choosing. I like that it is free, with no charges to send and/or to receive any messages sent. Being able to post Up to 30 photos on your profile page is a great plus as well. We’ll see how that works out! And I’ll keep you posted from time to time.
Music in the family
My oldest son has decided to take up music as his life’s ambition. I will support this dream because I love my son and I love music. I have bought him a Reason Drum kit and it seems that Reason drum kits are the top of the line and that is what he wants to fill his dream.
All of the musicians that I know here in music city are talking about the royalty free music sites and this has gotten my son to talking about royalty free music and I am not sure if he know a lot about it or not, I love the music sites here in Nashville and I hope to see my son playing there someday soon.
Wedding Dance Lessons Local
Personally I think that the people that are taking dance lessons to choreograph a dance for their wedding is totally awesome! The time, energy, dedication and expense says a lot about how dedicated they are for this relationship.
I was asked to consider taking wedding dance lessons santa monica by a good friend of mine that has asked me to help with her wedding day event. It didn’t take long for me to answer her with a “Heck Yeah!”
I should be able to schedule my days and nights in order to drive to the other side of town to a very well known choreographer that I have heard such good and positive feed back about. I love to dance and of course don’t make it to any dance floor much these past few years, so I really would enjoy the whole thing.
I just hope I can pick up the steps easy enough without to much hassle. Dancing by yourself is one thing but dancing to something that has been choreographed with several other people is a whole other ball game!
Girls Night Out
We are going for our monthly girls night out. I think we will hit the Blues bar this month. I have to see what the consensus is with everyone else first though. I do vaguely remember on our last night out, we had said Blues Bar this time, so we shall see.
My mother is going to keep the kids over night, so I do not have to worry about them. I can crash at a friends if I choose and not even go home till morning. That is a good thing, since one of my friends lives in town and I can park at her place, then take a cab to the bar. No drinking and driving for us.

I will have to admit that I am a late bloomer on the technology front and I am racing to catch up as quickly as I can. I have found an online creation app thats free and I seem to use it a lot almost every day I find something new and exciting online. The fact that a web site has so much information and a great selection of music to download to your phone for a ring tone is amazing to me.
What I really like about this very useful web site is the fact that you can create your own application from their list of different songs. I really like the fact that they have a much bigger selection than is on my phone, I have a ring tone that people in the south wold love.
Brinked has a huge selection of different music to choose from and I have made a couple of selections from the rock category and one from the R&b section, they even have themes from TV and movies on their web site. I even found the Imperial March from Star Wars, and anyone who is not a Star Wars fan like me is really missing out on this great series of movies and the great music from the movies is top notch.

I just found the Shell packs my son wants. He is going to be so happy. He has been asking for a drum set forever and all of the ones we saw, just weren’t right. After talking to his band teacher at school, he gave me a really good site to look on and there they were. Just what we need and the price is just right. I can’t wait to show my son.
