I couldn’t stop laughing at this. I have always loved watching nature videos but when you add a human context to them it makes it ten times more enjoyable! I guarantee that anyone watching this will laugh at some point. If they don’t then they must not have any sense of humor. The large white birds laughing are my absolute favorite!
There are so many different wedding decorations that it boggles the mind. It’s no wonder that women go nuts right before the wedding. After spending months trying to figure out what you want, placing all of the orders, setting it all up, the stress is tremendous. Add the excitement of starting a new life and wow! Instant insanity!
I feel sorry for those women who don’t actually do the planning themselves. The do miss out on a lot of fun that can be had with their friends. It’s like and integral part of getting married, sharing that time with your closest friends. At least people are still picking out their engagement and wedding ring on their own!
The days that I could call my kid brother for my heating and/or air conditioning issues are unfortunately long gone. He discovered that he has a real talent with computers and he hasn’t had anything to do with anything else since.
So on the down side I have to locate and hire my own Durham air conditioning service when I need help. On the other hand I can always count on him to help me with my computers!
Tonight’s evening news revealed a surprising study with regards to women in the movies. The study overall showed that women still have very few speaking parts compared to men. Men account for 67% of speaking parts according to this study. Women have very little leading roles.
The study accounts this data to the majority of film directors still being of the male gender. Naturally, these men lean more toward hiring male actors than female actors. I am kind of appalled but at the same time not fully surprised. It is very sad also that women who purchase more movie tickets in a year then men, according to the same study, view these movies and basically are subjected to their own equality.
That study also found that women are pealing off their clothes 1/3 more than their male counterparts. Again, it is women who are viewing these movies more than men. Something is wrong with this picture. Maybe in another 100 years women will finally have the upper hand or should I say lead?
It is true that girls can like sports too and I am a true sports fan, I played many sports as a young girl and I do enjoy watching most of the sports that all of the men like. Football is my favorite and baseball is not far behind. I have learned to love hockey since I moved here to Nashville, I have attended many of the Predators games and I love my hockey seats, we are right on the glass and you can hear the boys sweating.
Now that football is over and hockey is on break all I can hope for is spring training to get started so I can have some baseball to watch. One of the few sports that I do not follow at all is basketball, we went to one live pro game a few years ago and I tried to watch it but just could not make myself, so hurry up baseball season.
My sisters youngest daughter has had a beautiful baby girl and to get the perfect gift for this newest member of our family I have decided to go all out and get her some unique baby blankets for the baby. A new baby brings out the very best in most people and I am one of those who love the new babies. In this family it is my job to get the newest babies wonderful gifts and baby stuff they can keep their whole lives.

I will have to admit that I am a late bloomer on the technology front and I am racing to catch up as quickly as I can. I have found an online creation app thats free and I seem to use it a lot almost every day I find something new and exciting online. The fact that a web site has so much information and a great selection of music to download to your phone for a ring tone is amazing to me.
What I really like about this very useful web site is the fact that you can create your own application from their list of different songs. I really like the fact that they have a much bigger selection than is on my phone, I have a ring tone that people in the south wold love.
Brinked has a huge selection of different music to choose from and I have made a couple of selections from the rock category and one from the R&b section, they even have themes from TV and movies on their web site. I even found the Imperial March from Star Wars, and anyone who is not a Star Wars fan like me is really missing out on this great series of movies and the great music from the movies is top notch.
Over the last few years the furniture in my home has become very out dated and stale, to help remedy this situation I had begun looking for some Modern Furniture to replace my old stuff. The main thing I want this new furniture to do is help liven up my living room and the dining room. As a kid, one of the best things about Sunday was getting the Sunday newspaper and pulling out the comics section. On Sundays the comics were printed in color! And most of them were 3 or 4 times as long as the ones in the daily newspaper.
My favorite comics included Peanuts and Garfield. How interesting that my favorites are about a dog and a cat? I just realized that!
Today I heard some interesting statistics on the world news. The news anchor was discussing the recent views of love and marriage for the ages of 18-29. These views have changed drastically over the last decade. Apparently, the mindset of this group of people in today’s society is that of raising children over getting married.
The news anchor reports that in 2010, 52% of people ages 18-29 think that being a successful parent over getting married while only 30% of this group believes that having a successful marriage is more important. This does not surprise me. People in this age group are more concerned with getting their careers started before getting married. Unfortunately, for some they become involved in a relationship that creates a child before they get married. I think that this has a lot to do with these statistics. I think that in the future we we consider to see these trends as the economy declines. People will look to alternative methods of entertainment, not always for the better.
