The hgc supplement I have been taking to help me lose weight is working great. I cannot believe it. I have always had trouble losing weight due to my diabetes, but not anymore. I cannot wait to go to the doctors office, so he can see how well it is working. I have literally tried everything. Working out is difficult, because I am so busy, that finding time is almost impossible. Of course just trying to keep up with these kids is a workout in itself. Hopefully, when I get down to the weight I want, I will be able to keep it off. I am sure that it will stay off though, because I am always on the go.
Well that didn’t happen
I have been laughing over the “end of the world” Mayan calendar thing people have been talking about. We today is the end of the calender and we are all still here. The dooms day stuff has been in the media all of my life. First it was 1984, from the Orwell novel that predicts a totalitarian society that no one likes at all. Then came the Y2K scare when the new millennium kicked in, and everyone thought that the world was going to end, or the computers and lights would all shut off. Now the Mayan calender thing. I wonder what will be next. I know that someone will come up with something new soon. Until then, I will just keep on laughing.
Personalized napkins as well
We found out we can get personalized napkins as well. Now we just have to decide what we want them to say. I am of the opinion that we should have the bride and grooms names and the date of the wedding on there. That way they can also serve as a type of favor to remember the wedding by. She is not so sure. She said that it would be nice to have something humorous on them, like random sayings or something like that. They don’t have to be really expensive or anything, just another little touch that says something about the event.
We can get them in different sizes too, like smaller ones for cocktail napkins, ones for the tables and possibly some for the restrooms. It is something to think about anyway. We don’t have to decide on them right away. There is plenty of time after all. I have downloaded a few pictures and printed them out for the wedding file for potential buys. I have another folder for the stuff we have already bought as well. We both have duplicate copies of both files and everything in them. I am trying to stay as organized as possible.
Wedding decorations cont.
Apparently there were more than a few things we forgot. That is okay though, because I am on it. We were concentrating on the wedding decorations for the reception and totally forgot the church. We have the flowers and such to get for the church as well as the ribbons and greenery that will be on the pews. I have to match her colors to the available ribbons and make a list of what kinds of flowers and such we need.
I also need to call the church and see how long the isle is. With as many weddings as they perform, they should know the length that is needed to loop down the isle. I hope they do or I will have to go and measure with some yarn or something.
Wedding favor bags
I found some neat Wedding favor bags that have little trinkets and some bird seed in it for the guests. People don’t use rice anymore because the birds eat it and it swells in their stomachs, which is bad for them. So now we use bird seed and it serves two purposes. Keeps the birds safe while allowing the tradition of throwing seed or rice for plentiful crops or fertility to continue.
I have always liked that tradition as it is so fun and signals the start of a new life for the bride of groom. It has a lot of romanticism and practicality within it.
Tired lately
I have been really tired lately. I don’t know if it is because I have been sleeping too hard or what. I am getting plenty of sleep, but still don’t want to get up in the morning. I haven’t been doing anything different in my life, nothing more strenuous then usual. I just cannot figure out why I am so danged tired all the time. Maybe it is just this time of year. The holidays are always stressful and this year is no exception.
I am going to go see my doctor and get checked out. It is probably like I said, stress, but I want to be sure. I have too much to take care of with the kids and all to fall sick. I will make the appointment when I get off of here.
Already over
I cannot believe this year is almost over already. It seems like it passed by so very fast. 2013 will be here in another month. I hope that it is better then this past year has been. This year has been difficult for everyone, I know. I am looking forward to a new year. I have high hopes for work and life in general. I am planning a vacation, because I am way over due for one. I think that somewhere in the Bahamas or the Caribbean in general will be just what I need. So Happy Holidays to all and now it is time to think about my Christmas shopping list. Later Gators.
Lovin life
Today is going to be a great day. I have been working on my Bzzagent account over the last two days and it is finally up to date. I had gotten a little behind over the last year with every thing else that has happened. Now I can start doing that again. I love getting free products to try out. They send me the newest stuff and I get to see how good it is. Then I just write a review about it and viola ! It is so cool. Anyway, I am going to check on my work stuff now. so I have to go. Sometimes I just have to shake my head and walk away. Some people are just too stupid and I cannot for the life of me figure out how they get through life alive. If you say you love someone you should actually act like it. If you don’t then you wont have that person for very long.
Good skin care
I think that some people really don know what to do to keep their skin looking young. Drinking a lot of water and eating foods high in vitamin C will help keep you skin looking young and fresh at any age. You should eat foods that are juicy, such as cucumbers, mushrooms, peaches, oranges, grapes and berries, all of which are made up of more than 90% water. Hope this helps some of you ladies out there.
