My cousin is a doctor and has decided to start his own practice. I am helping him to set up the office. I just ordered the hospital carts needed for the electronic equipment that will be used in the office. Each room will need one for the computers the nursing staff will use to record data on as well as other equipment. I am so proud of him and very happy to help him organize and begin this phase of his career.
Chasing kittens
We have a couple of kittens and my littlest guy is having so much fun playing with them. One minute he is chasing them and the next they are chasing him. He is dragging a long shoelace around behind him and they have been going nuts trying to catch it. It is so funny to watch. I might have to dig out the camcorder and get it on video. It is moments like these that I want to cherish forever.
Getting healthy
Well as you know, I have type two diabetes. Losing weight is difficult for me, so I am going on a serious work out regimen. I found a protein powder that I will take to help me with that. A while back I bought a workout system to use, but haven’t been serious about it and it just sits in the family room not being used. The time has come for me to get off of my couch and finally do it.
Big bonfire tonight
With the turning of the weather, bonfire time is definitely here and the kids are so excited. We just love this time of year. We will roast marshmallows and such tonight after dinner as we gather around the bonfire. My family is coming as well. I think we will have the last BBQ of the year, even though it is cold. I haven’t made up my mind about what to cook yet, so that is not set in stone, so to speak. We shall see.

Grocery shopping
I have to do the grocery shopping today. I am not really looking forward to it as it seems like it is going to rain. I don’t have a choice though, because the pantry is looking sickly without much in it. I will probably only pick up a few things though. I usually do most of the shopping at the begining of the month and buy in bulk. Then I only have to drop by the store for perishables, like milk, eggs, and bread. I makes my life so much easier that way.

Cleaning and laundry today
So I am cleaning the house and doing laundry today. I most of it already done and only a little more to go. Basically, just two loads of laundry to finish drying and fold to put away. I do have to vacuum my bedroom, but I am not in a big hurry for that. I can always do that tomorrow, so I will have something to do. Honestly, my kids are pretty clean around the house, and clean their own rooms. So I am pretty much good to go. I love my life.
