Up early

Well today I just couldn’t seem to get back to sleep when my honey left for work. So I got up and started laundry at six o’clock in the morning. I took out something for dinner and I have been cleaning already. Now I am going to sit here and get some work done for a couple of hours I hope. Of course the kids will be up soon and I will have to fix them breakfast, but that won’t take long. Perhaps I can get everything done by noon and take the kids to the park or the lake. Depends on the weather I suppose.

Cleaning and laundry today

So I am cleaning the house and doing laundry today. I most of it already done and only a little more to go. Basically, just two loads of laundry to finish drying and fold to put away. I do have to vacuum my bedroom, but I am not in a big hurry for that. I can always do that tomorrow, so I will have something to do. Honestly, my kids are pretty clean around the house, and clean their own rooms. So I am pretty much good to go. I love my life.

Sick of Doing Laundry

Around here I try to get the laundry done just about every day. I don’t like it to build up and become a nagging problem, but I also try to make sure I run a full load so I’m not wasting water and electricity.

Most days I can do one load of colors. I have to let the white things add up for 4 or 5 days before I have enough to make a full load. Usually whatever day I do the whites I will also get all the bath towels and sheets rounded up and just do a couple of extra loads of laundry that day.

Today I am looking at four piles of dirty clothes, towels and sheets and I can’t help thinking that it would so much nicer to spend the day outside getting my garden started. But I need to make sure all the clothes get clean instead.

I got behind on my laundry and now I have the leaning tower of laundry in my laundry room. This is not good. I am going to be days trying to get all of this done. I don’t even know how we ended up with so much. I went in there to get some cleaner for the bathroom and about fell over when I saw it. It is almost like the kids emptied their drawers and closets into this little room and shut the door on it. I am amazed that they had anything to wear to school today.
