I am the coupon queen. I love to find deals for all of the stuff I buy. One of the latest deals I have found is for flowers – just in time for Valentines Day. I love flowers and I love sending them to my mom and sister. I like to send flowers at random times of the year just to make them smile. It is very nice to receive flowers for no other reason then for someone to say I love you and appreciate you.

I am going to grow a bunch of flowers this spring out in the front of the house. I have already made a diagram of the flower beds I want to put in. I am trying to choose which flowers and colors would look the best and grow in at different times so there are always blooms in the yard. I am thinking that I want to do one section in red, white and blue flowers that will all bloom in time for the Fourth of July. That would look amazing.

Happy Valentines Day

Well I have learned something else. I have to do this for ME and not for my children. My children will benefit from it as much if not more than I will. Today is Valentines Day. The day you show your loved ones that you love them. Well of course I got my children valentines cards and candy but I also bought myself some flowers to she myself that I am loved too.

You know what? It actually felt good to buy myself something like flowers. I look at them and picture myself as one of the buds on them. A bud is nothing but a green object and you have no idea of the beauty that will come from within. Right now I’m a bud. Once I work a little more, I’ll begin to open up and start showing the beautiful flower within. I don’t know if I’m a dandelion or a rose yet but in time, I will. Even a weed can produce a beautiful flower and right now, I feel more like a weed than a rose bush but even something as beautiful as a rose has thorns.

So happy

I am so happy. I just ordered some new things for the house. I am putting in window boxes on the front of the house. They are going to look so pretty and make the house look much better out front. Just because I have kids and yes they leave their toys and stuff outside all the time, doesn’t mean that the house has to look run down. I have seen how nice the flower boxes look on other houses and cannot wait to put some up here.

A window box is easy to keep up and the dogs cannot get into it and tear the flowers up. That is a major plus. My dogs are constantly digging in the flowers and such. I have to keep fencing up around the garden to keep them out or they will dig up all of my vegetables. I am so stoked. I cannot wait until they arrive. I just love shopping online.
