Well I have finally met my goal and now everyone is asking how. Well I found the perfect weight loss pills for me and lost all I wanted to lose. I have recommended to my friends that they find the right pill for them that will help them to reach their goals. I just love my new look and feel so much better about myself and physically too. I’m sure they will too once they lose what they want to lose.
October???
Can you believe that October is here already? I sure can’t. I don’t know where this year is going and so darn fast too. Next thing you know, it’s going to be Halloween and then Thanksgiving and so on and so on. Darn it I wish time would slow down. I’m just not ready for these holidays that are coming and winter. Oh well, I guess there’s nothing I can do unfortunately.
Don’t you just love pets?
We could learn a lot about life just watching our pets and how they live and love. Here’s a neat email I got about that very thing.
PET THEOLOGY
Be obedient, no matter how much the plan doesn’t make sense to you.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Give to those less fortunate. Be generous.
Take time to rest and enjoy the company of friends.
(I LOVE THIS ONE)
Value, honor and enjoy your family, no matter how strange they seem to you.
Help widows and orphans.
Don’t watch too much TV.
Remember, you do have a purpose! Others too, even if they seem way different from you!
So —- Have fun, and enjoy the abundant life.
You will not pass this way again!
‘A friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.’
I love this dance
I was deeply sadden to learn that we lost Patrick Swayze yesterday. I fell in love with him when I first watched ‘Dirty Dancing’ as did most women. The sexiest dance of the whole move was the one where Baby goes to Johnny’s room to apologize for the way her father had treated him. When she asks him to dance with her…………….Oh my goodness!! I would have done most anything to have danced with Patrick. Rest in Peace Patrick and thank you so very much for all you gave.
I need more room
Our home is rather cluttered and there’s a lot of things I just don’t want to do away with or put in an expensive storage facility. I think I’ll check into how much it will cost for one of those steel buildings to put behind my house. They’re a lot better than those wooden ones that can rot and fall apart and will protect our possessions much better from the elements and critters too.
Speaking of babies
This one came to me by email and I could not resist sharing it with you. Nothing like starting your day off with a little chuckle ya know.
Age Matters
HE IS 80, SHE IS 20.
IT WAS THE TALK OF THE TOWN WHEN AN 80 YEAR OLD MAN MARRIED A 20 YEAR OLD GIRL.
AFTER A YEAR OF MARRIAGE SHE WENT INTO THE HOSPITAL TO GIVE BIRTH.
THE NURSE CAME OUT TO CONGRATULATE THE OLD FELLOW SAYING “THIS IS AMAZING! HOW DO YOU DO IT AT YOUR AGE”
HE ANSWERED, “YOU GOT TO KEEP THE OLD MOTOR RUNNING.”
THE FOLLOWING YEAR THE YOUNG BRIDE GAVE BIRTH AGAIN.
THE SAME NURSE SAID, “YOU’RE AMAZING, HOW DO YOU DO IT”
HE AGAIN SAID “YOU’VE GOT TO KEEP THE OLD MOTOR RUNNING”.
THE SAME THING HAPPENED THE NEXT YEAR.
THE NURSE THEN SAID “WELL, WELL, WELL, YOU CERTAINLY ARE QUITE A MAN.
HE RESPONDED, “YOU’VE GOT TO KEEP THAT OLD MOTOR RUNNING.”
THE NURSE SAID, “WELL YOU BETTER CHANGE THE OIL, THIS ONE IS BLACK”
I’m a mother
Anyone that has ever had children, especially more than one, knows that one of the after affects of pregnancy is belly fat. I hate it so I started checking into how to lose belly fat. No I don’t want to look like a teenager again but I would like to lose some of that belly fat. I have exercised and watched what I eat but it’s still there. Hopefully I’ll learn something new.
Footprints
We have all either seen or read the poem called Footprints where Jesus is walking with someone on the beach. Well here’s a new version that I think is wonderful.
This new version of the ‘footprints’ story really caught me off guard at the end…What a blessing.
Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together. For much of the way, the Lord’s footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace. But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns. For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints come more in line with the Lord’s, soon paralleling, His consistently. You and Jesus are walking as true friends! This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens:
Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus’ are now walking precisely in His steps. Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and Jesus are becoming one. This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.
Eventually they disappear altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one..
This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place. Stops. Starts. Gashes in the sand. A variable mess of prints.
You are amazed and shocked. Your dream ends. Now you pray:
‘Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits. I was a new Christian; I was just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You.’
‘That is correct.’
‘And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps, following You very closely.’
‘Very good.. You have understood everything so far.’
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way.’
‘ Precisely.’
‘So, Lord, was there a regression or something? The footprints separated, and this time it was worse than at first.’
There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice.. ‘You didn’t know? It was then that we danced!’
I think I’ll start in the childrens rooms
After I got everything put away and taken out that isn’t needed anymore, I have realized just how bad we need new children’s furniture. These were hand me downs and they have seen better days. I love the new styles they have and I know the kids will love them too. I can’t wait to let them pick out what they want.
Since the kids aren’t home now
Now that the kids are back in school, I have been going through the house and getting rid of a lot of clutter that we no longer need. I hate all of the clutter the kids have in their room with toys they don’t play with anymore and everything else that is all over their room.
I’m even thinking about doing some redecorating. Maybe I’ll start with the living room or my bedroom. I don’t know. I’ll have to shop around and see what I see.
