Ally and her latte moments
Well it’s time for back to school shopping and I am so looking forward to it. The kids aren’t as happy as I am about it but they’ll get over it. Once they get back to school and see all of their friends that they haven’t seen all summer, they’ll be happy.
It’s just the thought of going to bed before midnight and getting up early that they are complaining about right now. I guarantee you that they will be up on the first day before I am, all excited and ready to go.
Going Green is the buzz word everywhere but what about Green shopping? Buy.com did a study and found out that by shopping online, we are helping to save our planet. Just think how many places you have to go to get the things you need. That’s a lot of carbon going into the air. When you order online and they deliver, lots less nasty things into our air!!
It blew me away when someone was trying to explain to me what a flash drive was and I just couldn’t understand what they were talking about. Well up steps my 13 year old son and explained it to me and I finally understood. Now I see why I need one. Thank goodness my kid is smarter than I am when it comes to computers or I would be a computer idiot instead of computer illiterate.
No I’m not about to tell you how old I am but I really think I need some eye cream. Hey it’s never too early to try and keep the wrinkles away. After all, you never know when you just might meet someone, fall in love and live happily ever after. Yeah I know that’s a fairy tale and I sit on mine but it could happen…………one day………….maybe. Better to play if safe than sorry ya know.
I am so excited for my best friend Allie. She’s expecting her first child. I know exactly what I’ll get her too. I had a uppababy vista stroller for my youngest child and I absolutely loved it. They go from a newborn on up to a toddler and it sure made my life a lot easier since I had three other children too. Another good thing about it is if she has more children, she will have it for them too.
My oldest son is in a wedding next weekend as one of the groomsmen. He really needed a tuxedo shirt because the company they’re renting the tuxedo’s from, just doesn’t have one that will fit him. He’s got really broad shoulders and a tiny waist so every one they had looked like he was wearing his fathers tuxedo shirt. I had to custom order him one so he would look great. He’s so very handsome in a tux.
I knew the day would come when I started noticing wrinkles but not this soon!! After all, I’m not that old for crying out loud. Luckily I came across a web site that has the best wrinkle cream and even gives you decent prices too. That stuff can be expensive, ya know? The things us gals go through to stay young looking and attractive for men, I’m not so sure it’s worth all of the trouble but I sure don’t want wrinkles so this is worth it.
I could very easily see myself saying this one and my sister doing just what her sister did!!! She has the same sense of humor as this ladies sister. I would never live it down!!!
Funny Moms Stories #3:
My sister and I were at the mall and passed by a store that sold a variety of candy and nuts. As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, “No, I’m just looking at your nuts.” My sister started to laugh hysterically. The boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked away. To this day, my sister has never let me forget.

Yes I admit I am one of those women that just loves women’s shoes. I have been that way all of my life. My mother used to have a time keeping me out of her closet and her shoes. Now that I can buy shoes online, I am definitely a happy girl. I not only save money but time too which I have very little of with children and everything else I have going on.
