New cord for my lappy

Well I have to get a new cord for my laptop. I need a toshiba laptop ac adapter, because the old one quit working and now the computer wont charge up. I have had this happen before, because they just wear out when they get a lot of use. I also have a cat that for some reason likes to lay on top of the little box part. I guess she does it because it is warm, but that may be the reason they keep going out. They are getting too hot.

The toshiba laptop adapter isn’t really that expensive, so it doesn’t bother me that much. Plus, I have another computer to use, so the cat is safe for now. Toshiba Laptop Batteries are the only ones I can use as I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. I am thinking about just buying two of them, so I have a back up just in case. I am not sure yet.

New gates

It is time for new baby gates. The old ones have fallen apart. I use them for pet gates as well as safety gates when there are little ones in the house. I frequently have visitors with small children and like to make sure the house is as baby proof as possible. You never know what they will get into and since my children are all five and up the necessity for the old baby proofing is long gone.

I even have one for the hearth on the fire place. I use this one the most,even with my own kids, especially during the winter when I have a fire going a lot. I love my fireplace and so do my children. We cut wood a lot so we can have a fire going. It helps to save money on heating during the winter months that normally run me over three hundred dollars a month or more. I know that as soon as I don’t need them anymore for my kids and the friends and neighbors, I will have grandchildren to use them for. I guess I will always use the safety gates no matter what.

So comfy

I have fallen in love with sheep skin. My mom bought me sheepskin rugs for the living room of my house. I put it directly in front of the fire place. I had been looking forever for some kind of comfy rug to go there for those romantic winter nights when my honey and I like to light a fire and relax in front of it with a glass of wine.

I loved them so much that I decided to buy some sheepskin products for our vehicles. The sheepskin seat covers look awesome and feel delicious when you slid into the car and sit on them. I really like that when it is cold out, because the leather seats are really cold when you first get into the car. This way, I don’t totally freeze before the car heater warms up. The kids really like it as well because they were constantly complaining about cold seats. Now we never have to worry about that again. If you have never tried them, you don’t know what you are missing.

used construction truck sale

Well, my brother is starting a new business. He has gotten his sub contractors license in construction and is now looking for used construction equipment for sale. He needs a couple of different machines to do what is required by the business he is going into. First he is looking for a backhoe for sale, preferably a used one. It will keep down his start up costs and leave more money for operation if he buys used vehicles for now.

He is definitely going to need a truck to pull a large piece of equipment. So I am helping him look for used trucks for sale online. The cost of starting a business is exorbitant and he is trying to save money where ever he can. I told him that he might want to find a used skid steer instead of a backhoe since they are definitely cheaper and weigh less. If it weighs less then the truck he buys doesn’t have to be too big. Either way I am sure we will find everything he needs in time for the spring construction rush. A lot of construction slows down during the winter around here because of the weather.

Shopping

I love to shop. Even more I love to shop for stuff for my house. Today I bought a few things for my bedroom. A whole new bedding set complete with the bed skirts. I love the way the skirts hang on the bottom of the bed. I took inventory of the beds in the house and bought new mattress covers for all the beds in the house as well. Mine didn’t really need a new one, but the children have torn theirs up, so I had to get new ones. Don’t ask me how they manage to tear them up, because I am clueless.

I have a set of satin bed sheet for my bed, but not enough satin pillow cases for the set, so I bought a few more of those as well. I bought them in different colors to contrast the color I already have. The ones I have are a maroon color, and the ones I bought are dark blue like the comforter as a contrast. I really like the effect it makes. I am looking for some material to stretch on the walls that matches the comforter set. When I have that my room will have a whole new look to it.

Aunt Phyllis

Well my Aunt Phyllis is looking for Toronto contractors to help do some remodeling on her house. Since she and my Uncle split up a few years ago, the house has been steadily falling apart on her without a man to help with repairs. The Toronto kitchen contractors can remodel her kitchen entirely instead of having a handy man do repairs. I think it is a great idea so that she doesn’t have to worry about constantly having someone come fix stuff for her.

She has also had a few problems in her bathroom, so has decided to redo it as well. The Toronto bathroom contractors she found have given her a good price on it, with a whole new bathroom as well. Her new bathroom will include a shower stall instead of a tub, with rails so she doesn’t fall. Since she is getting older she is worried that one day she might have this problem, so is preparing ahead of time. I feel much better with this knowledge, as the family has worried about her being up there with no other family around. She has friends, but it is not the same. This is a very good thing.

Coupon clubs

All of my friends are now doing coupon clubs. They trade coupons, clip coupons and print out coupons constantly. They save thousands of dollars a year doing it and manage to get so much stuff for free its unbelievable. I have decided that it is time for me to do so as well. Yesterday, my friend Tracy got ten tubes of toothpaste for free, as well as a lot of other stuff, and only spent about seventeen dollars. That is a big deal. She told me that I can find eastbay.com coupons here on this site.

Now I am joining the different coupon clubs she has recommended to me like the find eastbay.com deals here one she sent me. I will recommend all the sites she gives me to anyone who wants to save money. In today’s economy we have to save wherever we can, because inflation has gotten so high. It is very difficult for some people to make ends meet with the prices as they are. A gallon of milk costs more then a gallon of gas half the time and gas is so expensive now too. I have friends who have given up the second vehicle for their family because of it.

I can only hope that anyone who want to find eastbay.com deals here does so and make their lives a little easier because of it. It is already making a difference in my life even though I have just started to do this. My friends call it extreme couponing. I think that is a great name for it myself. After all, when u only spend fifty dollars for two hundred dollars worth of stuff that is extreme. Give it a try and see how well you do. It certainly cannot hurt to try it.

I have been able to buy a lot of stuff I normally cannot afford. I no longer have to shop at the discount stores all the time, because I can go to the regular grocery stores and spend less money by using coupons and the sales they are having together. It is amazing how easy this is. My kids are much happier now as well, since I can get them all the snacks they want as well as stock up on other products we use. All you need is a little time and effort to be successful in this endeavor. Have a great day.

Address

So i have decided on the address plaques for the outside of the house. They are really quit distinguished looking. I like the bronze and black coloring and it will look amazing on my house. An address plaque goes on the front of your house and has your house number and street name on it. You never have to worry about anyone not being able to find your house because the numbers aren’t there or the mailbox numbers have faded.

My address sign is now the envy of my street. Three of my neighbors stopped to ask me where I got it and how much it cost. I love it when my home is admired by the neighbors. It really makes a person feel good to know that their hard work has paid off. I work really hard on keeping my home looking nice too. Saturday’s are yard day for the kids and I. We always have some kind of project going on and really enjoy the time we spend together doing it.

New spice rack

Well my old spice rack fell apart. It was very old and I probably should have replaced it a long time ago, but it was a gift from my mom long ago when I got my very first place. It had sentimental value and I just didn’t want to get rid of it. However, since it broke, I can now get a new one. I am not sure though if I want a wall spice rack or a counter top one. There are so many different kinds to choose from.

I am looking online as I so often do before deciding what I want. The spice racks I have found are awesome and I have even found some for in a drawer. That is kind of interesting. I am going to have to get one that fits different brands of spices because I use so many different kinds to cook. Now I just have to decide between the ones I like and order it. Dominos Online Was Great

There were coupons on the bulletin board for Dominos Pizza, so I decided to order a pizza and maybe some hot wings for dinner.

I couldn’t find the phone number for the store that delivers to my neighborhood, so I decided to try ordering online. That was really easy. I just put in my address and they figured out who delivers and sent the order to them.

Online had more coupons deals and I got exactly what I wanted without being put on hold or having to repeat myself for someone who does not speak English. Then an online order tracker popped up, so I could tell how close the pizza was to being ready and on its way. It was really easy – I’ll do that again next time I have a pizza craving.
