That Angel in my last post, well I just can’t seem to get him out of my mind. If I could have an Angel like that, I would walk around with the biggest smile on my face you have ever seen. Oh well, he’ll just have to stay in my dreams because there sure isn’t anyone that looks anything like that around here. There’s always hope though!!!

OK BE HONEST…how many of you REALLY ENJOY getting little angel love notes from every person in your address book? You know the ones with “I love you so… here’s an angel” … and some mushy poem crap….And like the cute wasn’t bad enough, they then THREATEN you with bad luck if you don’t send it on to others!!
So here’s my version:
Take the fairy dust:
Add it to one of those angels

In the south, we have a lot of Rednecks and everyone knows that Rednecks can do some awfully stupid things. Well this looks like something some of the ‘Good ol’ boys’ around here might do. Enjoy! There’s nothing like getting a good laugh on these stupid Rednecks they have in this day in time. They don’t even know what a true redneck is.

My sister and I were at the mall and passed by a store that sold a variety of candy and nuts. As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, “No, I’m just looking at your nuts.” My sister started to laugh hysterically. The boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked away. To this day, my sister has never let me forget.

Some people dream of going to Hawaii or Disney World and that’s all well and nice but my dream vacation would be more along the lives of Vegas vacations. I would love to see all of the lights, the entertainment and the stars. No I’m not much of a gambler when it comes to my money but to see Celine Dion onstage, that would be a dream come true!! Donnie and Marie would be great to see too. I just might have to start planning for that dream to come true.

Now I know where they get them
You’ve seen the kids in their funky clothes these days just like I have. In fact, my kids have been asking for some of them but I have never seen a rave clothing store until I found this one online at beatdropscloset.com.
Now I know where they find all those things they wear. I must admit I do like some of the things the girls are wearing like the furry boots. They remind me of Cher when she first started with Sunny. Pretty neat if you ask me. Some of the clothes I’m not that crazy about so the kids will just have to be happy with what I get.
Now this judge just might have the answer
I don’t know about you but I hate to be driving down the road, have to stop at a light or stop sign and hear someone elses extremely loud music booming so loud you can’t even hear your own radio.
I really hate to admit it but I can’t remember who the judge is or even what state or city he is doing this but what this judge noticed was that there were a number of repeat offenders showing up in his court room charged with noise violations. Most of them were kids who’s parents simply paid their fine and off they went, only to return again at a later date, charged with the same thing yet again.
After giving it a little thought, he decided to sentence the repeat offenders to one hour of listening to different types of loud music from Barney singing ‘I love you, you love me’ to Barry Manilow singing ‘I can’t smile without you.’ After the hour was over, he would give them a little survey and if there happened to be a song in his collection he played that kept showing up as one that happened to be liked, it was removed and something else was added in it’s place.
He wants to make sure that most of the music is not something the kids like so they can finally learn what it’s like to have to listen to music they don’t want to listen to. The towns people have reported that it is working because there is much less noise all over the city. I think they need to start doing this everywhere.
Nintendo DS system
Two of my kids have a Nintendo DS system. They absolutely loved that darn thing and very rarely puts it down when they’re home. Well I found this really cool R4 DS at gameboy.com. Don’t know what that is? Well it allows you to listen to all your music and MP3s on your Nintendo DS system. I think that’s great. It’s also a cheat device for the games. The kids are going to love that.
