I wish my coffee looked this pretty every morning. I am going to have to learn how they do this. It is amazing the way they can make different pictures in the tops of the coffee like this one. I think I am going to have to post a “morning cup of joe” all the time, if I can find a lot that look this awesome.
I think we will have a treat tonight and go out to dinner. I really am not in the mood to cook and I have a hankering for Chinese. There is a great Chinese buffet not too far from the house, that we all love. It is a very large buffet with a dessert bar as well. The kids really love that part. I let them make their own plates, ecept for the little guy, but he goes with me and chooses what he wants. He makes pretty good choices since he loves all types of foods. I love that my kids are not picky eaters. It makes for a much easier life, not having to worry about that. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great night. Later Gators!
Blech. I have to go redo my tags for my car, because I forgot to send it in the mail. I hate having to go down there as there is always a long line. Not to mention, that I was supposed to have done it last month, so I am really driving on a dead tag. I cannot believe that I totally spaced it. Ah well, see you guys on the flip side.
It is amazingly cold this morning. I had to bundle the kids up really good before they could go catch the bus. I think I will make a big pot of Chili for dinner tonight. I love making stews, chili and such when the weather is cold. It seems like it really warms you up from the inside out.
Sometimes people come into your life and then leave it again. Learning to let go when they are gone can be difficult. It has taken me a long time to figure out how to do that. I believe that these people are sent into our lives to teach us something and when they leave us, it is because we have learned all that we could from them.
I have recently lost a friend, who just walked away over relative non-sense. I am not sure exactly what I was supposed to have learned from her, but I must have learned something. Perhaps it is just not to let too many people get close to me. I am not sure, but what I am sure of, is that eventually I will figure out what it is when the time is right.
This week already sucks. I am bored out of my mind. I suppose I can watch TV, but I am not really a TV person. I do have a couple of books on my Nook that I haven’t read yet, so I may start one of those. Other than that, I haven’t much to do as I got all of my cleaning done yesterday. I guess it will be a day of just waiting for the kids to get home from school. Blah
I broke a nail this morning making coffee. Don’t ask me how I could possibly break a nail making coffee, but I did. I have had a long struggle with my nails. I used to bite them when I was younger and they are not very strong. They are getting better all the time though since I quit biting them. I try to keep polish on them to help keep them from breaking, but that doesn’t always work. I am going to have to re-paint them later, however I have to wait until I am done working on the computer. Nail painting and typing do not mix well.
I think I will go with a nice bronze color today. Something with a little sparkle in it too. I much prefer polish with a little sparkle in it.
Last night the computer was acting wonky. I had to clear the cache, passwords and everything and it still did not help. I shut it down till this morning and now I have to re set all of the passwords to save. The problem with that is I forgot half of them and have had to go through all of the pages to either request new ones and such. I am now saving them all in a word document in case this ever happens again. This is so irritating. Grrrr.
It is a nasty day outside, with lots of rain. We have so many errands to run and so little time to do it all. I think it is time to start the morning off with a little music. Lets see if I can get my music to post on here, so you can listen in with me as well.
I just love the new patio I had put in. It is just beautiful. The paving stone path that goes around to the back patio completely matches every part and was so easy to do. I was amazed at how different things look afterwards. Some seemingly simple stuff can make a world of difference in making a home look nice. The patio pavers have a really neat and clean look to them. It makes for a really nice place to sit and enjoy either good company or even a meal. I will have to get some new patio furniture as well now too.
The landscape lighting installation took a little longer than I wanted it too, but in the end it looks amazing. I sat outside last night for a long while just looking at it. I am so proud of my house. I have done so much work to it to make it nice and I wont stop until every little thing is fixed and perfect. I bought this house as a fixer upper and it has really paid off, because everything is how I want it rather than the way someone else wanted things. I love to show it off as well, which means that I will be having a BBQ soon to show this new addition off.
