Now the stupid toilet is running constantly. There is something wrong on the inside of the tank, that I am going to have to fix soon. It is wasting water more and more each day. I have to make a trip to Home depot sometime this week and purchase what I need to fix it. I know it doesn’t cost all that much. It is just a pain to have to mess with. Ah well, such is life.
My PC
I just bought some new hard drive formatting software for my PC. Since I am buying a new one and giving away this old one, I need to make sure all of my data is cleaned out of it first. This program will help scrub out all of the little bits of data that get locked in. A lot of it is stuff that is sensitive material, like personal information regarding money and such. I don’t want any of that left on the computer, because you never know who will end up with the old computer later on.
New technology
There is so much new technology in the world, that it is hard to keep up sometimes. With smart phones, electronic payments and faster computers, people rarely have to interact with each other. I suppose that makes things easier for a lot of people, especially the electronic payments. You don’t have to worry about writing checks or stuff like that anymore, unless you want to.
New classes
I have to take a few new classes for my ea cpe. There is a mandate for ea continuing education. I have to retake some classes from time to time, to keep up with changing laws and such. I really like to be able to keep up on changes, and really enjoy learning new stuff. I probably could have been a professional student if I had the money to be able to go to college constantly.
However, as enrolled agent continuing education requirements change from time to time, it is good to keep up. It doesn’t really take a lot of time either. The cost is not that bad and very much worth it. I have a few classes to take this year that will help me a lot. I have no doubt that I will do well in them as I usually do. Now I have to get back to studying. I hope everyone has a great day.
Work work work
Finally work is picking up. I am so happy about that. This summer has been so slow for work that I have been pinching pennies because of it. I was hoping that work would pick up as school started and I was right. School is just about to start and all of a sudden work has begun to flow better. Just in time too, because I have school supplies to buy for the kids.
Groceries
I cannot believe how much it cost me to go shopping today. We were out of everything. I ended up spending over four hundred dollars between two different stores and one of them was the dollar store. This is ridiculous. Milk was three thirty a gallon at the dollar store. That is highway robbery in my opinion. Oh well, you can’t get away from buying food, so you have to pay the inflated prices they charge.
A new WII
I am looking for wii console bundles to buy for the kids. Ours has finally died because it gets so much use. The kids have really used it a lot this past year with the weather being so horrible. It has either been too hot outside or too cold and rainy. I feel kind of bad for them, because they have been so bored. I will have to get a few new games as well. I am sure they have beaten all of the ones they have already.
The school
I went and re checked the enclosed bulletin board at the school to double check the supply lists. My nine year old is going into middle school and they have outdoor enclosed bulletin boards at the school for the parents to check for announcements. I can always count on being able to get the necessary information from them no matter if the school is open or not. I wasn’t the only one there either. There were a lot of mothers checking for their kids as well.
My youngest son starts kindergarten this year and is going to need a lot of stuff as well. The glass bulletin board at his school was just being updated as I arrived. Thankfully I got their late or I wouldn’t have had the information that I needed. As it is, this lot will cost a pretty penny this year. They want kinder mats for the kids to take naps on. I sincerely doubt they will get my little guy to take a nap. He doesn’t really take them anymore.
Insurance
Well I have to look for business insurance for my brothers company. He has gotten dropped from his other insurance company and has to find a new one fast. I take care of a lot of this stuff for him as his wife is pregnant with another baby and though she usually runs the office, she is having to spend more time on bed rest. This pregnancy is a bit more difficult than the last one, so I will pick up the slack to help them out.
Good Samaritans
There is a place online that people can donate cars to those who need them. It is called carangel car donations. I think this is a wonderful idea to help those in need.
