When people act stupid and then expect you to just forget about it, well that annoys the hell out of me. An apology is in order when you act like a child. You know you were wrong, so be a good friend and say your sorry, before you expect forgiveness. I apologize when I mess up. Why can’t you? I love you, so please grow up and act like a mature, responsible adult. Thank you so much.
Olympics
I want to see the Olympics so badly. This year they are being held in London, England. Have you ever wanted to visit London? I know I have always wanted to go there. London apartments are the best way to visit. I don’t really like to go to hotels as they are too noisy. The comfort of an apartment is much better then anything else. I can cook my own food and save money, so I can buy more souvenirs to bring home for the family.
Do you want to visit London for the 2012 Olympics? I am seriously thinking about going. My mother called me last night to tell me about it and said she was interested in going but dad doesn’t want to. She suggested she and I rent a London apartments for the two of us and take a mother daughter trip. She said that my Uncle Mike goes there on frequent business trips and uses London apartments instead of a hotel as his stays are usually lengthy and he prefers his privacy. I am crossing my fingers that we can go on this trip together. The kids can spend the summer with their father, so I wont have to worry about that.
Coupon clubs
All of my friends are now doing coupon clubs. They trade coupons, clip coupons and print out coupons constantly. They save thousands of dollars a year doing it and manage to get so much stuff for free its unbelievable. I have decided that it is time for me to do so as well. Yesterday, my friend Tracy got ten tubes of toothpaste for free, as well as a lot of other stuff, and only spent about seventeen dollars. That is a big deal. She told me that I can find eastbay.com coupons here on this site.
Now I am joining the different coupon clubs she has recommended to me like the find eastbay.com deals here one she sent me. I will recommend all the sites she gives me to anyone who wants to save money. In today’s economy we have to save wherever we can, because inflation has gotten so high. It is very difficult for some people to make ends meet with the prices as they are. A gallon of milk costs more then a gallon of gas half the time and gas is so expensive now too. I have friends who have given up the second vehicle for their family because of it.
I can only hope that anyone who want to find eastbay.com deals here does so and make their lives a little easier because of it. It is already making a difference in my life even though I have just started to do this. My friends call it extreme couponing. I think that is a great name for it myself. After all, when u only spend fifty dollars for two hundred dollars worth of stuff that is extreme. Give it a try and see how well you do. It certainly cannot hurt to try it.
I have been able to buy a lot of stuff I normally cannot afford. I no longer have to shop at the discount stores all the time, because I can go to the regular grocery stores and spend less money by using coupons and the sales they are having together. It is amazing how easy this is. My kids are much happier now as well, since I can get them all the snacks they want as well as stock up on other products we use. All you need is a little time and effort to be successful in this endeavor. Have a great day.
New web based business
I am starting a new web based business. First I am getting all of my ducks in a row, so I know exactly where I am going and what I am doing. Then I will begin to build this business. In my efforts to find an advertising company to help with my own ad campaign, I have found a great many to choose from. I am going to go with a pay per click agency. This will help generate traffic to my new site and spread the word, so to speak about what I am selling.
I can also become a publisher with the ad company and generate more money for myself and my friends who do the same thing I do. It is an amazing opportunity for me and I am very excited to begin such an endeavor. I have four other friends who are considering their own web based businesses too. Three of them are stay at home moms with lots of time on their hands to dedicate to it. It is also a plus when you have kids to be able to make more money. Kids are expensive to raise, and we like to give them as much as we can.
Going to the bar
I need a little me time. I asked my neighbor to sit with the kids so I can have a few hours just to myself. I love my kids, but every now and then I need to be in a place where kids are not allowed with only adults to talk to. A little music and a few drinks will help relax me a lot. I really want to play a few games of pool as well. I think I will invite my father to join me since he loves to play pool. =)
Sunday breakfast
I love Sunday breakfast. I go all out and make breakfast for the family, because during the week we are so hurried to get off to school and such that it is not possible. Saturday’s everyone likes to sleep in and just grabs cereal and such, so Sunday is our special breakfast day. Today I am making French toast, hash browns, bacon and scrambled eggs. A little something for everyone. =)
Ski holiday
My boyfriend has decided to take us on one of the Whistler ski holidays I haven’t been skiing since I was a kid. This is going to be so much fun and I get a break from the kids and everyday life for a few days. My mom is going to come and stay with the kids while we are gone and has planned a bunch of activities to keep them occupied. That way they get to have fun as well.
Whistler ski accommodation have so much to choose from and we are going to pick ours out tonight when he comes to visit. We can also get discount whistler lift tickets by buying online. I am so excited I can barely sit still. A nice romantic vacation just for he and I is exactly what we need. I love spending time with him and I love that he is willing to go all out to spend quality alone time with me. Have a great day everyone. Mine is awesome already.
Mandatory volunteering ?
I just read an article that say one county is trying to decide if they want to make a mandatory volunteering law for their county school system. This would require parents volunteer a set number of hours per year and the parents would get a grade at the end of the year on whether or not they reached the total number of hours required. I do not think that forcing people to do something is the way to go. Especially if certain parents are physically unable to do the hours due to lack of transportation or other handicaps. I must say I am glad they aren’t trying to do anything like this here. I would strenuously protest such a thing.
Extended vacation
I have decided to take an extended vacation this summer with the children to Scotland. Instead of staying in a motel I am look at Flats to rent Glasgow but haven’t decided exactly which city we will stay in. Therefore, Flats to rent Edinburgh is a good place to looks as well. There are a lot of tourist sights and places of historical interest that the children and I will enjoy.
I also think that Flats to rent Aberdeen is a good place for the Annual Jazz festival that takes place in the summer, but that will depend on the dates I decide to take the vacation. It is my hope to give the children an education and look into their own heritage from a hands on perspective. I want them to see it, touch it and feel it while we are there. I love my Scottish ancestry and hope the children will develop a love for it as well.
Well this is new
We were supposed to be replacing our cluster mailbox that was ruined by a recent storm, but the post office has suggested that we may be allowed to have individual mailboxes at our homes. I really like this idea as my kids frequently like to go get the mail and this is a shorter walk. A mailbox at the end of our drive would be really nice and if I buy a pretty one that matches the other improvements I have been making , it will be adorable.
I can choose one with a flower box in it or possibly one that has scrolling decorations on it. Either way I am looking forward to the new residential mailboxes I will see lining the streets out where we live. It will give the neighborhood a newer look or at least a slightly different one. I am happy this decision has been made as I much prefer my own mailbox at home.
