I am so happy. My kids decided to get me and my mom mother rings. Money was a little tight around Mother’s Day, so as soon as they were able to, they bought the mother rings for us. My father helped them order the rings online and then presented them to us during dinner last night. My mom and I both cried because it was such a sweet thing to do. My kids and my dad are the greatest.
Got our tickets
I am going to surprise the kids with a trip to the monster truck show. we absolutely love going to the shows and our favorite is Grave Digger. The boys will be over the moon when they find out. I am not going to tell them, I am just going to take them and let them realize where we are and what for, when we get there. It is going to be great!
Amazing photos
Well I found a wedding photographer for my cousins wedding. We are having it in philly, so we had to find a Philadelphia wedding photographer to do it. It is going to be such a beautiful wedding, although it is hard to plan it from here. I am the maid of honor or matron of honor and it is my job to help with those things. No matter, I will just have to take a couple of weekend trips to Philly to help her plan it.
Pretty kitty
The kittens are so pretty. Keira looks just like her mother and has blue eyes too. Her eyes are almost a turquoise color and remind me of a south pacific lagoon. They are just amazing to look at. Mumbo looks just too adorable. He gives you that “who me” look or a “I’m too cute” look and it just melts your heart. You really should see them.
My projects
Well as you all know I always have some kind of project going on, and lately I have had a heck of a time getting some of the supplies I want or need. I have been searching for dowel pins for a couple of weeks now and finally found some that will suit my needs. I cannot believe how difficult they were to find. No matter though, I was able to order them online and now I can finish my project.
Good Samaritans
There is a place online that people can donate cars to those who need them. It is called carangel car donations. I think this is a wonderful idea to help those in need. So, if you have a car that you can spare to help someone else, please consider this organization. It is for a really good cause. Have a great day.
Job hunting
Job hunting can be a pain now a days. There are few people hiring and a lot of those jobs require that you apply online. Some people do not have access to a computer and the libraries only give you so much time to use their computers. The applications sometimes have skills assessment tests that take that long after you fill out the application portion. I feel for those who have to use this medium to apply for jobs.
Bankrupt
I feel so bad for my cousin Ted. He is filing bankruptcy in Nebraska. The economy is really bad and has affected everyone I know. The Law office he is going to is helping him through it, but I wish he lived closer to the family right now. We might have been able to help him before this was necessary. As it is, no one even knew that he was having financial difficulties at all until his mom spilled the beans to my mom. People can be so strange about asking for help now a days. I wish he had come to us.
Well, the Nebraska bankruptcy attorney he has will help him through it and we are trying to get him to move back home now. This way, if he needs help we are right here and will hopefully be able to see it for ourselves. It will also help him get back on his feet too. My cousin Sid has already said he would put him to work if he moves home, so that is a plus.
Online games
I am totally addicted to online games. I have so much fun just relaxing and playing these games. They are not only fun, but help to relieve some of the stress I get daily. I especially like the bubble games and mah jong games. Solving puzzles can really help make you forget whatever is bothering you. I recommend them if you have some stress.
Time to get in shape
Okay, so it is definitely past time to get into shape. Between carrying children and type two diabetes, I have put on weight that I cannot seem to drop without more exercise than I am currently getting. I am going to use kettler fitness equipment to help me lose the weight I need gone. It really shouldn’t take very long to achieve and with any luck I can get rid of a lot of it before summer ends. It would be nice to be able to look a little better in my bathing suits.
My man says that the rowing machines would be my best bet. I have bad hips and this way it will not aggravate them. I certainly hope so. I am going to talk to my doctor first, before I actually buy anything. This way he can let me know what he thinks is best as well. wish me luck everyone.
