I think I will make an easy dinner tonight. We are going to have steak sandwiches and french fries. The kids love them, especially the fries and I don’t have a lot of clean up. I have a lot of work to still get done, so easy is the word of the night. I might even allow my eldest son to help make the Steakums steaks while I do the fries. He just loves to cook and always offers to help. His specialty is pancakes though. He makes them almost every weekend for Saturday breakfast. I am slowly teaching him little by little, but I am an over protective mom and get afraid he will burn himself. I have to learn to curb that a little bit. Ah well, gotta get back to work. Talk to ya’ll later.
Green printing
With the push towards saving the environment, green printing has become a way to help keep our air clean and save our forests. I am really happy about the way people are trying to save the environment now. For years we did not take our stewardship of this planet as seriously as we should have, but that is changing in a big way. More and more companies are taking responsibility for their own carbon foot print and working towards keeping the earth clean for future generations.
I am proud to be a part of a world that is serious about taking care of our planet. Every day we take larger steps to keep the planet clean and I know that the wildlife out there appreciates it.
Gosh
I just had a conversation that had me practically banging my head on the wall. So picture this. A guy just starts a new job after not working for over seven months. Now he has problems with his truck, and cannot get it fixed right now. He hasn’t even gotten his first paycheck and wants to go buy a five thousand dollar truck he has to make payments on. He is living with family and still can’t pay his bills but thinks it is okay to go buy this truck. All I can do is shake my head over it. Some people just have no sense at all. *bangs head on wall*
Wedding cake toppers
These wedding cake toppers are beautiful! I just love weddings. They are so pretty and so much fun. They are also so romantic and make us women get all emotional. Picking out the topper for your wedding cake can be a lot of fun. There are so many different kinds to choose from. There are the traditional toppers and then there are funny ones, or ones that symbolize whatever your life style may be.
I saw some that had dogs and cats on them with hilarious phrases and there was even some that were for hunters or people who like four wheeler’s. I really liked one that had a pregnant bride with a shot gun. I guess there is something for just about everyone.
Unity ceremony
This Unity ceremony is going to be so beautiful. I really cannot wait to see the wedding. Helping plan this wedding is so much fun. We will go look for the brides maids dresses and the wedding gown this week. If she gets off of work early today, we might even go today. I think that is one of the most fun parts of a wedding.
All women love to shop and trying on dresses is one of our favorite past times. Window shopping is another of our favorites as well. I hope she picks out dresses that can be worn again. I really don’t want to have a dress hanging in my closet that I can never use again. That is absolutely now fun at all.
Monday’s
No one likes Mondays, but I really do try to smile anyway. Life is so much easier if you have a positive outlook on it. The best thing to do is get up in the morning and paste a smile on your face with the determination that life is good. Then you can get through whatever your day throws at you.
wedding cake toppers
I love picking out and shopping for wedding cake toppers. There are so many cute toppers for the cakes it is unreal. You can get traditional ones with the standard bride and groom or hand crafted ones to suite the originality of your lifestyle.There are ones with animals as well as edible ones too. The edible ones are made out of candy clay. but I am not sure so many brides would like that. Most of us women want something that we can keep as a lasting memory.
I found a couple of them that were animals or humorous in content or both. Now that is what I call original. Why do what everyone else does? Be yourself and make sure that your topper says everything about you as a couple and your lifestyle to boot.
Do you Twitter? I have an account, but I really don’t see the purpose behind people posting tweets constantly every hour about where and what they are doing. I know that is kind of hypocritical being as I blog like I do, but I don’t give out every single detail about my life either. Also, blogging allows for much better conversation if you choose. Tweets only have a limited number of words that can be written and conversing over it is limited. Oh well, I guess people will do what people will do. Doesn’t make much sense to me though.
Wedding invitations
So themed Wedding invitations or generic is the question. If it is a normal wedding with no apparent theme, then generic wedding invitations will do, although you can choose the invitations in the wedding colors if you like. If there is a theme to the wedding then you have to decide if you want the guests to know ahead of time what that theme is, or if you want it to be a surprise.
No matter what you choose, RSVP cards are definitely necessary. This helps to know how much food and drink will be needed for the reception. After all, you don’t want to spend unnecessary money on too much food that will only go to waste. Careful planning can save money to be used on other stuff for the wedding, or for the honeymoon afterwards.
Human again
Finally I feel human again. I was having trouble waking up and just felt dragged down, so I went and got a nice long hot shower. Instead of working in my pj’s, I am now dressed and ready to rock n roll. There is so much to do today and the time has come for me got busy. When I am done with my computer work, I will work on the house itself, but not until I am done here.
The kids are happily content watching the new Batman movie for now and I should be able to finish all I have to do on here before they are done with the movie. At least, I hope so. So let me get something to drink and then I can get down to work.
