Something new or used?

I have been trying to decide weather or not to get a new car or a used one. I am pretty sure I am going to go with used. I found this site that I really like with great cars on it. They have a lot of really nice cars and they are much more affordable than what I was looking at new. I got Credit Approval online in just a few minutes and have already picked out a couple of cars I really like.

The used cars I saw on the blog were clean and looked like brand new. I can’t wait to go buy myself a new to me car. It is always exciting when you can buy something for yourself, especially something as large as a car. The kids are going to be really happy too, because the AC in the old one doesn’t work and they constantly complain about it.

The bar

I am so happy. I found the perfect bar stools for my bar in the game room. We have a pool table, Foosball table, stereo and big screen TV with X-Box and WII set up. Since we set the game room up in the basement, it is rather large. It opens up out the back through double sliding glass doors right onto the patio where the pool is. We can have pool parties and be indoors and out doors at the same time. The bar will be stocked well with all kinds of drinks for the young and old.

I am going to have the first pool party with a full bar on Memorial Day now that it is almost finished. I might even have one on the Fourth of July as well. We shall see how the first one goes first. I cannot wait to show off all of my hard work to all my friends and family.

Oh no

Oh no, my best friends house burned down. I offered for her to come stay here with her kids, but she refused. She said that the Salvation Army is putting them up in a motel and she needed the time to regroup. she was lucky that recently she had bought a Sentry Safe for her valuables and important documents. That was a god send to her in this crisis. The emergency crew rescued it the next day when the Sentry Safe inspector came to determine the cause of the it.

Her mother was happy that she bought the Sentry Safe after she found out about the fire. She even decided that it was a very smart thing to do and is going to purchase one for her house as well. I have had one for a long time, because I had flood damage once and lost the paperwork I needed. Since it is water proof, I don’t have to worry about that happening again.

Still working on it

I am still working on my remodeling of the house. I have so much I want to do still. I am working on it as diligently as I possibly can, with what resources I have and believe it or not, it is coming along nicely. I will be happy when it is all finished, so I can relax for a while before I start my next project. I am not sure what that will be yet though.

This kitchen remodeling job is taking a little longer then I thought it would, because I have changed it so much. Well, changed my mind about what I want so much is more like it. There are so many ways to do your kitchen that every time I find what I think I want, something else catches my eye and I change it again. I do have to stop that though because I need it finished already. No matter what I will be happy in the end because I have the satisfaction of knowing I did this myself.

Updates updates

Seems like there are so many updates to do for everything connected to the computer, even our smart phones have to have updates. My bog site just had to have an update, which I have to do manually. Every time I turn around, I am inundated with updates. Technology isn’t really as convenient as we all like to think it is. Sometimes, it’s damned hard work.

Big trucks

Well a big truck missed his turn and took out the CBU mailboxes we use to get our mail. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The last time they were taken out was because of a really bad storm. Now on top of the normal routine I have everyday that is completely exhausting, I have to add a trip to the post office until they are replaced. Our cbu mailbox was pretty much brand new and now we have to replace it. I am annoyed by this.

I hope that it doesn’t happen again this year, because commercial cluster mailboxes can be expensive if they have to be constantly replaced. At least we have a good company that we get them from. It shouldn’t take long for them to have the new one up and ready to use, probably only about a week. I really shouldn’t complain that much. I guess I am just used to my routine.

So happy

I am so happy. I just ordered some new things for the house. I am putting in window boxes on the front of the house. They are going to look so pretty and make the house look much better out front. Just because I have kids and yes they leave their toys and stuff outside all the time, doesn’t mean that the house has to look run down. I have seen how nice the flower boxes look on other houses and cannot wait to put some up here.

A window box is easy to keep up and the dogs cannot get into it and tear the flowers up. That is a major plus. My dogs are constantly digging in the flowers and such. I have to keep fencing up around the garden to keep them out or they will dig up all of my vegetables. I am so stoked. I cannot wait until they arrive. I just love shopping online.

New spice rack

I am so happy. I bought a new spice rack for my kitchen. My old one just seemed to fall apart. I seem to be a bit hard on my spice racks for some reason, but to be honest, I do a lot of cooking. I have a large family and we get together a lot on the weekends. I am constantly cooking food for one family get together or another. Add my friends get together’s and I am always in the kitchen.

You would think that kitchen spice racks would hold up better then they have, but maybe this new one from a different company will. I certainly hope so. Then again, I have kids and they like to cook for themselves sometimes too. That is actually how the last one broke. My new one is made of stainless steel, so I am confident that it will last a long while. I have instructed the children to be more careful of course, but then I do that all the time and it usually doesn’t help much. They are a rowdy bunch.

So pretty

Oh I found something so cool. I was surfing the web and found a site about designer fireplaces. It was so amazing to see all of the different concepts the designers come up with for a fireplace. Of course the company isn’t near my house, but my cousin lives out that way, so I sent the link to her so she could check them out. Wouldn’t you know it, but she needed to find fireplace inserts San Francisco for her house. She had been looking for fireplace inserts bay area for a couple of years and hadn’t found one she liked at all.

She was using the wrong search for what she wanted. She was searching fireplace mantles instead of inserts. Although, by all rights that should have found her this page too. She did tell me that she was really happy to find wood stoves for sale on the site as well. Now she can get everything she wanted for her house.

Awesome Idea

Ok, so my best friend came up with an awesome idea. I can’t tell you exactly what it is until we have patented it but I can tell you that she wants my help with it. Since I have a business degree, she asked me to help with all of the logistics that are involved in the patent process and starting a web page, etc. I am looking forward to this whole process as it is something new to do and exciting as well. Wish us luck on our new venture.
