Our home is rather cluttered and there’s a lot of things I just don’t want to do away with or put in an expensive storage facility. I think I’ll check into how much it will cost for one of those steel buildings to put behind my house. They’re a lot better than those wooden ones that can rot and fall apart and will protect our possessions much better from the elements and critters too.
I think I’ll start in the childrens rooms
After I got everything put away and taken out that isn’t needed anymore, I have realized just how bad we need new children’s furniture. These were hand me downs and they have seen better days. I love the new styles they have and I know the kids will love them too. I can’t wait to let them pick out what they want.
Since the kids aren’t home now
Now that the kids are back in school, I have been going through the house and getting rid of a lot of clutter that we no longer need. I hate all of the clutter the kids have in their room with toys they don’t play with anymore and everything else that is all over their room.
I’m even thinking about doing some redecorating. Maybe I’ll start with the living room or my bedroom. I don’t know. I’ll have to shop around and see what I see.
I wish I knew more about this
My vacuum cleaner died and someone told me that I needed a 115334 vacuum motor. It’s a central vacuum system I have for the whole house and I sure hope they know what they’re talking about. I got one at a pretty good price so I really hope that fixes the problem. It would be nice because I hate not having my vacuum cleaner working, especially with three kids running around.
We finally got some much needed rain!!
We had a very wet spring but just as quickly as it came, it went. We haven’t had a decent rain in about 5 weeks. My grass is turning brown and my little garden looks absolutely pitiful. Well sometime last night, the bottom fell out as the old saying goes and I bet we got about a total of 3 inches of rain. I know my garden and yard were happy to see that. Now the only problem is going to keep the weeds out of my garden and my grass mowed. Well I guess you can’t be happy with anything, huh?

What next?
The other night I was washing clothes and smelled something burning. My kids asked me what I was burning, I was in the kitchen and no I don’t usually burn dinner so I couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from. That is until opened the laundry room door.
Well when we opened the laundry room door to find it filled with smoke. Apparently when the washer spun, it didn’t spin because something got stuck with what ever it is that makes it spin. I let it cool off and turned it back on to the last spin and it worked. It sounded a bit funny but it still did what it was supposed to do. The problem is it keeps making that funny noise when it’s washing or spinning now.
I hate the thought of having to buy a new washing machine. I’ll go to Lowe’s Home Improvement Center when I do. I always find the best prices there.
Moving day
Well I have pinched myself a hundred times and nothing has changed so I must not be dreaming. Today we’re moving into Papa Charlies house. It’s a beautiful 4 bedroom brick home, not just a house. Each room is decorated beautifully and we are going to leave it just as Papa Charlie had it. The children are so excited that they will each have their own bedroom.
We have a chance at a new life now. We struggled so hard for so long that I’m not sure how to act right now. I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and it’s all going to just be a dream or someone is going to come in and say ‘There’s been a mistake, get out.’ I guess it will take me awhile to settle in and believe it’s all real.
I have paid off everything I owed with my monthly allowance because everything was paid up in full until the middle of next month and I’ll get my allowance the beginning of each month. Plus I still have my job and will keep it until I decide what I want to go to college for and start classes. Just because we have been given this wonderful gift, I’m not going to relax and blow it, that’s for sure. That would be almost like spitting in Charlies face and I’m not about to do that.
Happy Birthday Girlfriend
Today is my best friend in the worlds birthday. We have been best friends since 4th grade. That’s a long time. She’s not only one of the most caring people I know, but also a great mother. She has two daughters and the youngest was born just 4 weeks after my youngest. The coolest part of that is her daughter and my son are best friends too. Isn’t that just the sweetest thing? I think so.
I was trying to decide what to get her for her birthday and decided the best thing I can do is to get her a Visa gift card. That way, she can spend it how ever she wants. She can go have her hair done, buy some new clothes for herself or take her girls out on the town and enjoy the day together if she wants. I got her a nice card and mailed it so that she will get it this weekend and hopefully have a great weekend. She already had some plans for today so that’s why I waited.

Poor baby Penguins
I just read about hundreds of baby penguins being washed up on shore in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. It is not common for them to find both adult and baby penguins there it said but this year has been a record year unfortunately. There are some who think it is from over fishing in the waters where they usually go to catch fish for themselves for food and others blame pollutants.
We have to start looking at what we are doing to our environment before we are the only animals left on our sickening planet. If just each of us would commit to one day a week of not driving, that alone would help with the air pollution. If each of us would commit to more and better recycling, that would help too. There is so much more we can do to help and I personally am going to start checking into what more I as an individual to do.
