Wedding cake toppers

These wedding cake toppers are beautiful! I just love weddings. They are so pretty and so much fun. They are also so romantic and make us women get all emotional. Picking out the topper for your wedding cake can be a lot of fun. There are so many different kinds to choose from. There are the traditional toppers and then there are funny ones, or ones that symbolize whatever your life style may be.

I saw some that had dogs and cats on them with hilarious phrases and there was even some that were for hunters or people who like four wheeler’s. I really liked one that had a pregnant bride with a shot gun. I guess there is something for just about everyone.

The kids are going to love these! They will love helping to make them even more. I am going to send some to their classes for their Holiday parties. I know that they will be a really big hit with the kids. Baking with my kids is a lot of fun. They really enjoy creating little treats like this to take to class with them.

I love picking out and shopping for wedding cake toppers. There are so many cute toppers for the cakes it is unreal. You can get traditional ones with the standard bride and groom or hand crafted ones to suite the originality of your lifestyle.There are ones with animals as well as edible ones too. The edible ones are made out of candy clay. but I am not sure so many brides would like that. Most of us women want something that we can keep as a lasting memory.

I found a couple of them that were animals or humorous in content or both. Now that is what I call original. Why do what everyone else does? Be yourself and make sure that your topper says everything about you as a couple and your lifestyle to boot.

Big breakfast

I made a big breakfast this morning for the family. I usually do every Sunday, but lately have kind of dropped the ball on it. Sometimes life seems to get in the way and our normal routine gets all messed up. It takes a lot of concentrated effort to put everything back into place. So, I am putting things back into place one step at a time.

Routine is important to kids because it makes them feel safe and secure. I know that is going to be difficult with the holidays here, but I will do it anyway. Usually we already have our tree up and that hasn’t happened yet either. Hopefully that is one other thing I can accomplish today as well.

I wish my coffee looked this pretty every morning. I am going to have to learn how they do this. It is amazing the way they can make different pictures in the tops of the coffee like this one. I think I am going to have to post a “morning cup of joe” all the time, if I can find a lot that look this awesome.

Out to dinner

I think we will have a treat tonight and go out to dinner. I really am not in the mood to cook and I have a hankering for Chinese. There is a great Chinese buffet not too far from the house, that we all love. It is a very large buffet with a dessert bar as well. The kids really love that part. I let them make their own plates, ecept for the little guy, but he goes with me and chooses what he wants. He makes pretty good choices since he loves all types of foods. I love that my kids are not picky eaters. It makes for a much easier life, not having to worry about that. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great night. Later Gators!

Too funny

If everyone drank their coffee out of mugs like this, no one would ever be in a bad mood in the morning. I might buy one just for the giggle effect. I can just see me trying to pour my coffee every morning into it. I would be smiling before I ever had a sip of it.

So cold

It is amazingly cold this morning. I had to bundle the kids up really good before they could go catch the bus. I think I will make a big pot of Chili for dinner tonight. I love making stews, chili and such when the weather is cold. It seems like it really warms you up from the inside out.

Grocery shopping

I have to do the grocery shopping today. I am not really looking forward to it as it seems like it is going to rain. I don’t have a choice though, because the pantry is looking sickly without much in it. I will probably only pick up a few things though. I usually do most of the shopping at the begining of the month and buy in bulk. Then I only have to drop by the store for perishables, like milk, eggs, and bread. I makes my life so much easier that way.

Kitchen Magic

I love to cook and creating Kitchen Magic is something my family appreciates. I get tired of eating the same foods all the time, therefore I try to mix it up as much as I can. I try new recipes all the time. Most of the time they work amazingly great. Sometimes however, it is something we just didn’t like even though it came out perfectly. On those days we either choke it down, or end up ordering out. It doesn’t happen often though.

I tried a new breakfast casserole recipe a couple of weeks ago and they absolutely loved it. The Kitchen Magic was definitely their that day. I had to prep it the night before and let it sit in the fridge over night, which was great because all I had to do was pop it into the oven the next morning.  I think I will make it again next weekend as well.
