Totally redone

My brother owns his own contracting company and I haven’t been to his office in a long time. I really haven’t had a reason to go over that way, but he has been raving about the new look for his office, so I went to see what all the fuss was about. It was amazing. I totally love what he did with it. He found these stainless steel tiles to use on the walls about halfway up and then put glass block above that. I didn’t even know they made stainless steel tiles. I honestly didn’t believe him when he said that he had put them in. I thought he was pulling my leg.

I wonder if I could incorporate that into my kitchen somewhere? Maybe I could put it as the back of the stove. You ladies know what I am talking about. That wall behind your stove that gets all of the splatter from cooking is what I am thinking about changing. Stainless steel tile would really look good there and would be so easy to clean and I wouldn’t have to worry about scrubbing paint off the wall when I clean it. I am going to love that.

Summer

I so cannot wait for summer to get here so we can go swimming. We absolutely love to swim and all we need is a little more warmer weather that lasts for a long enough time to warm the water. We go to the river and swim at our favorite place. It is quiet and fairly secluded, so we can enjoy ourselves without being crowded by other people. That is my favorite part, being able to have family time without being crowded.

Storage for mom

When mom found out that I had gotten a storage unit to put all the over flow from the house into it, she decided that she wanted one too. She looked at Bronx self storage units first and liked them a lot, but they were a little farther away than she wanted. Dad is happy that she is clearing out a lot of stuff from their garage. He likes to work in there and all the decorations and such over the years as kind of taken over his guy space.

I told her to look at Brooklyn storage or Richmond storage as they are both closer to her house. Dad just called and is already planning to do a lot of stuff to his garage. He is going to turn it back into his little work shop, now that he will have the room to do it. I know that he is ecstatic about it, because he keeps calling me to tell me everything he is going to do.

Saturday morning toons

Kids and their Saturday morning cartoons are just too funny. They sit there and hoot and holler at them, laughing away. I love the sounds of their laughter and I am guaranteed to hear it first thing Saturday mornings without fail. It makes for a great start to my day when I come out of the bedroom and they are sitting there with smiles on their little faces. Now I have to make some coffee and breakfast. I hope everyone has a great day.

No more space

Well I had to rent a storage unit because there was just no more space right now at the house. When you have a lot of kids, you need a lot of space, not just for living but for storage as well. Albuquerque self storage units are exactly what I need for all of the extra stuff that is over flowing my house. There are Christmas decorations for indoors and outdoors as well as Halloween and all of the other holidays. The kids just love to decorate, so I have picked up quite a lot of stuff for just that.

There is also the storing of winter and summer clothes at the appropriate times of year as well. After all, kids require a lot of clothing. I also do hand me downs on clothes that are still serviceable as well, so those have to be stored for later use. I looked around at Las Vegas storage and Riverside storage as well before deciding on where to go. I found what I needed though and I am very happy now.

This is why

Okay, so I know I told you guys about the cheese cake and people were asking me why I ordered it online. Well if you Order Cheesecake Online there are so many different flavors to choose from. How could you not do it? Seriously, the kids went mad over the one I bought. The squeals of happiness were enough to sell me on it alone. There is nothing better then to hear your kids that happy. If you are a parent, then you know exactly what I mean.

My children’s happiness is the most important thing to me, just as it is to most parents. When you surprise them with something they like the sounds can make your head spin, but will definitely put a smile on your face. Being a parent it definitely the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life, and I am happy that I can give my children something that makes them happy.

This is good

Oh the kids are going to be so happy. I ordered the most delicious looking cheesecake online and it just came in. They absolutely love this stuff. We have made our own from time to time, because you all know how much we like to cook and bake, but this is amazing. Cheesecake is definitely a favorite in our house. I have found lots of recipes online that we have tried over the years. I think the internet is the best thing ever invented. There is nothing you cannot find online.

This cheesecake is a gourmet one with different flavors. It is huge too. I bet it last for a week or more before it is all eaten, even the kids will have a hard time with it. I may take a couple of pieces over to my elderly neighbor. She is such a nice old lady and doesn’t have a lot of family nearby. I try to spend a little time with her whenever I can and so do the kids. I have the greatest kids.

Harassment

Stop collection harassment California residents by using a reputable law firm like the one that my brother found for his problem. He was having a problem with a collection on an old debt that he didn’t even know that he had. I believe it was from around the time he was in college and all of a sudden these people began calling day and night at all hours. They woke up his children and wife in the middle of the night and even called him at his job on numerous occasions.

Fortunately, his boss is very understanding and even recommended the firm my brother used to get rid of the offending collectors. I was appalled at the tactics these people used to try and get money from him. As it turned out, he had already taken care of the debt back in the late 90’s, and my mother was able to find the paper work for it because she never throws anything away. Thank God for that. He ended up suing the debt collectors and even got money in compensation for their harassment. They were charged by the state and convicted as well. So if you want to stop harassment for good, call a good attorney and talk to them about it. Let these collectors know that they cannot get away with these kind of tactics.

Peace

I love this picture and the quotation is profound. Finding the peace within is not as easy as it sounds but it is possible. It took me years before I figured out how to get to that place. Part of that is due to the amazing man I have.

Job in Santa Clara

I live in Los Angeles, and just got a great job offer in Santa Clara. I know I cannot move my wife and children to Santa Clara since my son has special needs and is in a special school. We don’t want to change his environment since we know that it would be tough for him to handle. My wife and I decided that I would get a small apartment in Santa Clara so that I could work there during the week, and then I would come home to Los Angeles on the weekends to be with the family. I am going to miss them a lot, but I cannot pass up this opportunity. Taking this job would mean a big increase in salary, and we need all the money we can get to help our son get better. I found an apartment to rent pretty quickly, and then I started getting everything set up. I knew I would need to find direct tv in santa clara since I wouldn’t have my wife and kids there to keep me busy at night.
