Letting go

Sometimes people come into your life and then leave it again. Learning to let go when they are gone can be difficult. It has taken me a long time to figure out how to do that. I believe that these people are sent into our lives to teach us something and when they leave us, it is because we have learned all that we could from them.

I have recently lost a friend, who just walked away over relative non-sense. I am not sure exactly what I was supposed to have learned from her, but I must have learned something. Perhaps it is just not to let too many people get close to me. I am not sure, but what I am sure of, is that eventually I will figure out what it is when the time is right.

A little nervous

I have never chaperoned a dance before. I am not sure what to wear tonight. My son said some of the other parents will be wearing costumes, but I haven’t had time to buy mine yet. I suppose I will wear regular clothes, and just be there. I am sure that some of the parents will be as well. At least I hope they will.

Cob homes

Cob homes are making a revivial from the olden days. Made out of clay, sand, straw, water and earth, they are similar to the adobe style homes of the South West United States. The come back for these types of homes can be directly attributed to the green movement. Building green saves you money and some of the homes are actually built with recyclable materials as well, so save the environment on a larger scale. I believe this is really the way of the future, by going back to the basics.

BPI Training

My sister is taking these classes to get bpi training certification. There are a lot of places that are trying to become more energy efficient. Some of them require home energy audits before the sale of a home as well as energy companies who want home owners to bring their houses up to bpi standards. Green Training USA is the company she is going through for her certification. I am considering this myself, as the quest to go green intensifies around the globe.

Professionals in this area are becoming more in demand each year. The BPI building envelope for specialist training and certification can be purchased online. You need only find a center near you and begin your classes. It doesn’t take that long as the class is only four hours long, with one full day of on site, hands on training. The fees include your exam fees as well as the sudy guide.

Cellulite treatment

I have been seriously thinking about having a bit of cellulite treatment done. Cellulite can be caused by many different factors, such as

  • Metabolism
  • Physiology
  • Dieting
  • Skin Architecture
  • Tissue Structure
  •  Hormonal Factors
  • Genetic Factors
  • Micro-circulatory System
  •  Extra cellular Matrix
  • Inflammatory alterations

Weather it is hormonal, genetic, predisposing factors or life style, once you have it, it is there to stay without treatment. What ever treatment you choose however, is going to be an ongoing treatment, as there is no absolute cure.

 

There are many different treatments available, however only a few actually work. Laser treatment for cellulite is the leading treatment proven to work. Once you have gotten the cellulite under control, the number of treatments required per year are small. Usually a once a year treatment, much like having your teeth or eyes checked. A simple maintenance that is relatively quick and easy.

Learning about cellulite and it’s causes as well as treatments before committing to one, is of course the smart thing to do. Industrial hydraulics and power units

Industrial power is run by hydraulic power or fluid power. Hydraulic power units transmit power by using the controlled circulation of of pressurized fluids, like oil, to a motor that converts it into mechanical power that will support a work load. The power units create a large amount of power, which in turn drives the hydraulics to create a massive amount of pressure into one small area.

Hydraulic power units are used everywhere. Construction equipment like back hoes, skid steers, and dump trucks all have hydraulics on them to lift and move loads. Marine equipment, like the lifts that lift a boat out of the water or on boats with large nets that have to be lifted out of the water as well. The military applications for hydraulic power are virtually limitless. Automotive shops use hydraulic lifts to lift the vehicle into the air so that the mechanic can work on them easier and NASA uses them to lift and move the rockets and space shuttles that we send into outer space.

Farm equipment have power units as well as amusement parks rides, garbage trucks, oil rigs, and even airplanes use them to move their flaps and wheels. There are power units running almost every hydraulic powered equipment in the world. Without power units, many of the things we do today would be virtually impossible, or at least they would take much longer to do.

Hydraulic power units save time and energy, so we can do things in less time and with a minimum of effort. The engine and transmission in your car is a power unit. The motor drives the hydraulic transmission that turns the wheels and makes the car move forward. Hydraulic power units come in many sizes, and can be found in just about every part of your life, including your home. Garbage compactors used in household kitchens are also hydraulic power units.

New classes

I have to take a few new classes for my ea cpe. There is a mandate for ea continuing education. I have to retake some classes from time to time, to keep up with changing laws and such. I really like to be able to keep up on changes, and really enjoy learning new stuff. I probably could have been a professional student if I had the money to be able to go to college constantly.

However, as enrolled agent continuing education requirements change from time to time, it is good to keep up. It doesn’t really take a lot of time either. The cost is not that bad and very much worth it. I have a few classes to take this year that will help me a lot. I have no doubt that I will do well in them as I usually do. Now I have to get back to studying. I hope everyone has a great day.

The school

I went and re checked the enclosed bulletin board at the school to double check the supply lists. My nine year old is going into middle school and they have outdoor enclosed bulletin boards at the school for the parents to check for announcements. I can always count on being able to get the necessary information from them no matter if the school is open or not. I wasn’t the only one there either. There were a lot of mothers checking for their kids as well.

My youngest son starts kindergarten this year and is going to need a lot of stuff as well. The glass bulletin board at his school was just being updated as I arrived. Thankfully I got their late or I wouldn’t have had the information that I needed. As it is, this lot will cost a pretty penny this year. They want kinder mats for the kids to take naps on. I sincerely doubt they will get my little guy to take a nap. He doesn’t really take them anymore.

School supplies

I just got the new school supply lists for my kids and I cannot believe all of the stuff they are asking for this year. Add to that the fact that they also need new school clothes and shoes as well. I foresee a lot of money I don’t really have going out over the next few weeks. Hopefully I can get a lot of it on tax free week, but I doubt it. My money never comes in until afterwards. It really kind of stinks that it always works out like that. Oh well, I will persevere as always and get everything done in time. There is not really much choice in the matter.
