Did you by chance happen to see the lady that had a face transplant on Good Morning America this morning? What an amazing woman!! She just lifted my spirits more than anyone has in years. Bless her heart her husband shot her in the face and she was a beautiful woman and it left her without a face at all. The most amazing part of this woman is the wonderful outlook on life that she has. She said that she has forgiven her husband. I would only hope that I could be that gracious and forgiving but I’m not sure I could. Then again, after seeing her and her wonderful heart, if she can forgive what he did to her, she inspires me to be more forgiving in my life.
My cousin is getting married, finally!!!
She and her guy have been engaged for about 5 years now I think it is and they finally decided to go ahead and get married. Everyone keeps saying “It’s about time!!” She has a beautiful engagement ring but he didn’t purchase wedding rings when he got it so now they have to find a set of wedding bands they like. She was telling me about an online store they were looking at where they could get the rings they pick out the very next day, has a great selection of over 200 wedding bands and great service too. She showed me the ones she thinks they’re getting and they were absolutely beautiful!!!

I got this information from my mother. She’s become a bit of a health nut since my father died of a heart attack. I’m not sure where she got this or even if it is totally accurate but I didn’t figure it would hurt to let you guys in on it too.
Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can you believe this? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup,warm water or warm beer after a meal.

Darn it I hurt myself!!
Some of my friends and I decided to go play tennis this past weekend since it was perfect weather on Saturday. It wasn’t too hot or too cool so we hit the courts. As luck would have it, I think I got a shin splint. Now I don’t know much about shin splints so my friend recommended I check this web site. It’s full of all kinds of wonderful information on what a shin splint is and how to make it better. In fact, it has a list from a-z of injuries. I am so very blessed
I have had a best friend since 4th grade. We have been through our rough spots but we always manage to come back together as best friends. I don’t know many people that have had a best friend as long as I have and with that in mind, I feel so very blessed. I can call her and she instantly knows how to make me smile or laugh like a couple of school girls. We have been through some very hard times together and knowing that she’s there for me means the world to me.
I don’t hardly even have to explain to her what I’m feeling because she knows me well enough to know just by the tone of my voice. Isn’t that amazing? I sure think so. I would give the world to find a husband that understands me like she does but most of the ones that are like that already have boyfriends. Well girlfriend, I just wanted to let the world know how much you mean to me and make sure you know just how much I treasure you for who you are and I think that’s a pretty amazing person. After all, if you can put up with me for all of these years and still love me, that makes you the most special person on the face of the earth to me!! I love you more than words can say girlfriend.

I’m not sure where these pictures are from but my aunt sent them to me in an email. Actually there were 19 of them but I picked out a few of my favorites to share with you. I hope you don’t mind. Nature is amazing and so very beautiful. We all need to take care of Gods creatures a little better than we have but that’s my opinion. How could anyone hurt this beautiful creature?
Then this one is just too cute. It looks like they are all in a chorus and singing their little hearts out to me. How could anyone want to hurt them either?
Even with the threat of swine flu causing panic, just look at what a sweet picture this on is. Even pigs love too apparently.
But my favorite of all has to be this one. Imagine the chance of catching this shot. It looks like God is smiling at us, doesn’t it? I’m sure he has a sense of humor, if not, why in the world would he have made man and woman so different!!!

It’s that time of year again
It’s spring and you know what that means. It’s time to start thinking about a new bathing suit. I honestly hate looking for a new bathing suit. There are so many that I just wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing and then there’s always the problem of finding one that actually fits. It’s not one of my favorite pastimes until I came across these bathing suits. I was really surprised at the prices I found on this site but even more than that, I actually found one I like.
See I go to the beach with my mother and sisters a lot and also spend time on the local lake with my friends so I need a bathing suit that my mother will not be ashamed to be seen with me in and still looks good on me too. What I like about this bathing suit is how easily I could just slip some cut off jeans on and look fine to go anywhere for a burger or what ever after leaving the lake. I love white bathing suits too because I don’t get real dark like some people do and a white suit makes me look darker than I am. Plus it’s got the cutest skirt on it. I just think it’s adorable. What do you think?
Swine flu scare
There are so many people that are over reacting about the threat of swine flu. I have started seeing people walking around all of the time in crowds wearing surgical masks. I could maybe see it on an airplane or in Texas but not everywhere. I just don’t understand all of the over reacting. Not once have I heard that the threat is as bad as some are making it out to be. Now I could see someone being afraid if they did this.

Mom’s going all out on redecorating
My mother is amazing me with the things she’s doing with her home. The part that’s really amazing me is most of the things she’s getting, she found online. She’s becoming quite the Internet shopper. She has found some of the best deals on home furnishings and home decor. I had no idea she was becoming so proficient on finding so many good deals online.
She got new linens and bedding for her bedroom. The new comforter she got is beautiful. It really set the room off if you know what I mean. She even found the therapeutic pillows like she likes and has to sleep with. She keeps a set of bed pillows with the shams on them that matches her comforter that she puts on top of her pillows and it looks great.
She found the prettiest new lamps for the living room too. They really changed the look of the whole room. Mom is great with home accessories. I wish I could look at something online like she can and find just the right place for them. I do good to find the right desk lamp. Maybe there’s still a lot to learn from Mom!!
