This is so bad in a good way!!

Now I know where they got Moms outfit

Remember I told you that my sister got Mom the cutest outfit for Mothers Day?  Well I now know where she got it from.  She ordered it from an online store that has plus size clothing. I finally got it out of my sister because I’m not a real big girl but it’s hard for me to find tops that fit me like I want. I wanted to check out what they had since Moms outfit was so darn cute.  Talk about surprised, well I was blown away at some of the great clothes they have on that site.

I found so many tops that I absolutely love that I think I’ll end up maxing out my credit card, which I never do.  I never charge more than I can pay off in a month or two at the most.  They have a tab called ‘Sale Rack’ that has some really great prices on.  In fact, there were three tops on there that I absolutely love.  The clothes are not frumpy like a lot of plus size clothes tend to be either.  They have some very stylish clothes that you can wear to work or anywhere as far as that goes.  Oh and get this, you even get free shipping if you order $75 dollars or more of their clothing.  That’s not going to be hard to do either.

And God created dog

This is one of the best emails I have gotten in a long time.  I am a dog person so I loved this and the last line is exactly why I’m not a cat person.  Enjoy!!!!

The Story of Adam & Eve’s Pets

Adam and Eve said, ‘Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.’

And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves.’

And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve. And it was a good animal and God was pleased. And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail And Adam said, ‘Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.’

And God said, ‘I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.’   And Dog lived with Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved them. And they were comforted And God was pleased. And Dog was content and wagged his tail.

After a while, it came to pass that an angel came to the Lord and said, ‘Lord, Adam and Eve have become filled with pride. They strut and preen like peacocks and they believe they are worthy of adoration. Dog has indeed taught them that they are loved, but perhaps too well.’

And God said, I will create for them a companion who will be with them and who will see them as they are. The companion will remind them of their limitations, so they will know that they are not always worthy of adoration.’

And God created CAT to be a companion to Adam and Eve.  And Cat would not obey them. And when Adam and Eve gazed into Cat’s eyes, they were reminded that they were not the supreme beings. And Adam and Eve learned humility.  And they were greatly improved. And God was pleased . . . .. . . And Dog was happy. . . . . And Cat didn’t give a shit one way or the other….

Planning a party for the kids

I told you that Jacey’s brothers kids have a birthday coming.  Well they are planning a special birthday party.  They were thinking about a pool party since they do have a swimming pool with a cover on it that heats the water. That way the kids won’t freeze their hineys off. I told them about this web site that is a great help in party planning.  They have great suggestions on theme parties, Fathers Day parties and other types of holiday parties.  I use them all the time when I’m trying to plan a party because they have some great ideas.

Not only do they have great ideas, they have recipes too for things like a graduation cake, Fathers Day cupcake decorations and much more.  They think of all the things you wouldn’t or don’t sometimes.  They will tell you the best wine for your party, decoration ideas, menu ideas, and even decorating tips  for the party.    I have used them for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties and just about any type of party I was planning.  I had a great New Years Party thanks to them.  Everyone was ranting and raving saying I was such a good hostess and threw a great party.  I just smiled and said “Thank You!”

Jayce’s brother is putting up a swing set

Jayce just asked me to go with him to his brothers this weekend.  See, it’s their daughters birthday and their son’s birthday is only two weeks after that so they have gotten them a great swing set for their birthdays.  They’re not having their birthday party for another week I think he said.  That way they can do the together but the swing set is for both of them but given on her birthday.  Swing sets are great for kids in the summer.

We always had either a swing set or at least a tire swing if not the whole set.  Tire swings are a lot better than the ones we had.  Ours was just an old tire tied on a string.  We had to watch out for water getting in them and other stuff too.  These you don’t have to worry about that at all.  They carry all sorts of safe playground equipment, swings and swing sets of all types and sizes including tire swings, swing n gliders, daycare supplies and playground accessories too.

We had a great time last night

Jayce took me to a really nice restaurant and we had a great meal.  Then we went over to his brothers house (who just happens to be a police officer)  and played cards for a few hours.  It was nice to meet his family.  His brother is a really nice guy.  So is his wife and their two kids.  They have a boy and a girl that are just the cutest and sweetest kids I have been around for a long time.  We left a little early so the kids would go to bed but that was okay.  They were really nice to me and I really enjoyed meeting them.  In fact, we had a great evening and I hope there are many more.

That was him!

Jacey just called and said that since it’s raining, maybe we should go see a movie or something.  I was so afraid he was going to back out on me.  I haven’t dated in awhile and I sort of feel like a high school girl who’s excited about a date with the quarterback of the football team.  Silly huh?  Well I think so too but it does sort of feel good at the same time.  He’ll be here about 12:30 and then we’ll decide what movie we are going to see.  Wish me luck that the date goes good.

Mom came over an saw the planters I have

Well as you should know by now, my mother is redoing just about everything inside and out at her house.  She came over last night and was commenting on the planters I have my plants in and decided she needed some new planters for her plants too.  One of the things she’s looking for the I love are window box planters.   I think they look great on a house especially when they have the type of plants that hang out of them.  Of course she’s wanting to get some high end planters because only the best is good enough for my mother.

We went online and she found some really nice decorative planters she wants for her inside plants.  Then she saw the outdoor planters and came up with all sorts of ideas of what to put in them.  She wants some of the garden planters for her patio too.  Not too many but just enough to grew a few herbs in.  She loves fresh herbs.  Then she went back to the indoor planters and picked out a couple of them.  She’s definitely on a buying streak.  I have to admit that I love the decorative planter she picked out for her living room.  It looks great.

As luck would have it

Well we were supposed to go to a carnival today but as luck would have it, it’s raining.  That means no carnival.  Now I’m wondering if that means the date is off or if he’ll come up with something else to do.  I sure hope so.  He hasn’t called me yet so I’m not sure what to do.  We were supposed to leave about 12 o’clock today and I’m dressed and ready to go.  I sure hope he doesn’t just leave me sitting here without a phone call or anything.  That would not be cool at all!!  I don’t think he’s that type of guy though.  Oh there’s the phone.  Maybe it’s him.
