Went out to eat

Jayce and I went out to eat at an outdoor type place.  The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the service was fantastic and I was absolutely amazed that there were absolutely no flies buzzing around our food.  I hate flies for that very reason along with how nasty they are.  I noticed that there were these nice lights here and there.  What I didn’t realize was they were fly lights.

The only lights I had ever seen that took care of flies were the bug zapper things that would scare you to death when something flew in them.  These were actually beautiful and would look great even in your home.  I must admit I peeked to see who made them and then checked online only to find out the company has several fly control solutions.  The prices were pretty darn good too.  When you’re dealing with experts, you know you can’t go wrong.

I keep telling everyone about this

I have told so many people about how pleased I am with Direct TV.   I almost sound like a walking advertiser for them.  But I am so very pleased with it that I want to share it with everyone I care about or is family.  You know what I mean?  Directv offers everything you could possibly want in satellite service.

A good friend of mine just moved to Texas and found out just how easy it was to get Direct TV in Texas too.  She was so afraid she would have to get a different satellite service or worse yet, cable.  It’s nice to know that you can move somewhere like Texas or just about any other state and still get your Direct TV service there too.

Debt is getting a lot of people

I know so many people that are in over their heads with debt due to either losing their jobs or having to take a pay cut just to be able to keep their jobs.  A lot of them have looked into Debt Consolidation Help because without it, they run the chance of not only ruining their credit but possibly losing their homes because of the high interest on their credit cards and the minimum monthly payment keeps going up and up every month it seems.  Luckily there are web sites like this one out there to help so many people.

I’ve been checking into diets online

Since Jayce and I have started seeing each other, I decided I might need to drop just a few pounds.  A woman tends to do that when either the summer is on it’s way or she has a new beau if you know what I mean.  The problem is finding a diet that I can handle.  I have a hard time with a lot of diets.  I was surfing the Internet for diet sites when I came across a Diet program that sounds like one that I just might be able to stick to.  I had never seen this one before so I checked more into it.

My weakness is sweets and snacks.  I love cookies and always have.  My mother was always making homemade cookies when we were kids so cookies mean comfort and love to me I guess.  Anyway, this program has a ‘diet personality’ page that you fill out so they can see what your weaknesses and strengths are with diets and to see if you have any syndromes like binge eating.  You can even calculate your BMI (body mass index) on the site too.  From everything I have read, this is a medically sound diet and the perfect cookie diet for me.  I get to eat cookies and still lose weight.  I couldn’t ask for anything better.

Just call me the coupon queen!!

Boy since everything keeps going up, you have to find creative ways to get what you need at the cheapest prices possible.  Sometimes that means waiting for something to go on sale.  But to me, it means free coupons and free is the best four letter word I know!!  Well it’s one of my favorite four letter words anyway.  Super Cool Coupons has become one of the first places I go to see if I can find a coupon I need before I shop.

See, I do a lot of my shopping online if at all possible because it saves me time and money on gas and wear and tear on my car.  Well I have found just about any and every coupon web site but this one is great.  You can even get discount codes on domain names if you wanted to create a web page of your own.  How cool is that?  They have coupon codes for stores like Walgreens, Overstock.com, Amazon.com and a whole lot more than I have time to mention.  This is really one coupon web site you should check out.  I have saved so much money with their coupon codes that is amazes me sometimes.  Like I said, I always check on coupons before I shop and you should too if you want to save money.

This proves that not all bankers are heartless!!

With the economy in the shape it’s in and the banks being so stingy with the money they are supposed to be lending out, well bankers are appearing as a bit ‘heartless’.  Well when I saw this, I knew that this was one banker that had a heart of gold or he sure wouldn’t have done what he did.  You probably saw it on the news but just in case you didn’t, here it is:

Looking for furniture online with my friend

I told you that my friend is moving to Wilmington, NC.  Well since she’s moving into a new house, she’s going to need more furniture than she has and really needs to replace some she has.  A lot of it was hand me down when she got married to help them out.  She wants a new living room suite but not just any living room suite either.  She wants an Oasis sofa made in Belgium.   I have to admit it is beautiful and 100% original, guaranteed.  Then she started looking at entertainment centers.  She wanted something unique and that’s what she found.  It’s called LC-Bandarole 1 made in Italy.  I have to admit that I loved it too.

Then she was off to the bedroom.  She said she could take her old one and put it in the guest room but she wanted a new bedroom suite for their bedroom.  Something modern and classy.  She fell in love with the Ben Comp 6 from Spain.    I loved it too.  It’s gorgeous!!  One things for sure, if you want high quality modern furniture, this is the place to start.  They also offer financing.

If you don’t find something you absolutely love, it will shock me.  Oh and get this, all of this furniture comes from a store in New York too.

Friend moving to Wilmington, NC

I have a friend that is moving to Wilmington, North Carolina.  She has some family down there and knew to call Wilmington NC Real Estate to help her find a home there. She was totally surprised to find out that Prudential Real Estate and Laney Real Estate in Wilmington NC becoming Prudential Laney Real Estate.  It was a great surprise because there are even more houses that she will be shown through just the one real estate office.  Good move!!! Wrightsville Beach Real Estate was another one she was going to check out to try and find a home too.  Wrightsville Beach is a great beach that’s close to Wilmington where her new job is located.

Jayce’s brother is putting up a swing set

Jayce just asked me to go with him to his brothers this weekend.  See, it’s their daughters birthday and their son’s birthday is only two weeks after that so they have gotten them a great swing set for their birthdays.  They’re not having their birthday party for another week I think he said.  That way they can do the together but the swing set is for both of them but given on her birthday.  Swing sets are great for kids in the summer.

We always had either a swing set or at least a tire swing if not the whole set.  Tire swings are a lot better than the ones we had.  Ours was just an old tire tied on a string.  We had to watch out for water getting in them and other stuff too.  These you don’t have to worry about that at all.  They carry all sorts of safe playground equipment, swings and swing sets of all types and sizes including tire swings, swing n gliders, daycare supplies and playground accessories too.
