So happy

I had the best night last night with my honey. We had the house to ourselves and romped around like kids. Of course we are still kids if you ask anyone over forty, but that is okay by me. I made an awesome dinner for us we watched a couple of hilarious movies. The popcorn fight was fun, but cleaning it up later took some ingenuity. Boy that stuff really gets all over the place. I even found some this morning in the planter across the room. Not sure how that happened. Oh well, life is grand so who cares.

My mother

My mother came over yesterday and helped me clean out the spare room since the roommate moved out the night before. I am making enough money right now to not have to worry about having a roommate anymore anyway and my mom said if I need help she will help. That way I don’t have to worry about anymore problems like the last one. I am sooo happy that her and her animals are gone !

Roommates suck

I hate having a roommate. She never does her dishes or anything. She won’t clean out her litter box or even clean up after her dog. Oh she gets around to cleaning up after the dog, after about six hours or so. I have to smell this crap on the floor all day long and I am so over it. I have tried to talk to her repeatedly and she gets loud like she can intimidate me. Not anymore. I am evicting her as soon as possible.

Dj mixer

My boyfriend wants to buy one of these Stanton dj mixers. He just loves music and wants to try DJing professionally. He worked in a club before doing that, but would prefer to do parties and weddings and such. I think it would be a great idea. It would give him some extra income and that is always a good thing.

Can’t seem to focus today

I don’t know why, but I am having the worst time focusing today. My mind keeps wandering and I have to jerk myself back to whatever task I am doing at the time. It is really getting annoying. Wondering if I got enough sleep last night, because this rarely ever happens to me. I hope it’s just today, because I am not getting anything done at all.

A new amplifier

Your going to love this. I just ordered a new behringer epq 2000. We have an awesome stereo and speakers, but the stereo alone just doesn’t push the speakers the way it should. I think the old amp is going out, so we decided to just replace it with a new one. I am so happy that we are finally able to do this. We have BBQ’s and such and like to play the music so it can be heard from inside the house. Fortunately we don’t have really close neighbors to complain about it.

Time to buy school supplies

I can’t believe it’s that time already. I was in Walmart and the school supplies are already out and the school lists as well. Another two weeks and the kids will be back in school and the next round will have started. It seems like a never ending cycle on one hand, and on the other it seems like the kids just grow so fast I can barely keep up. O.o

Love these hash browns

I decided to try these hash browns one day just on a fluke. I figured it would be enough for maybe one or two people. Wrong. It is enough for all of us to have with breakfast. That is if some of the people you are feeding are kids and don’t eat a whole lot. In any case, we all loved them and they just go into the cupboard and don’t have to be refrigerated. I really love that!

Alaskan vacation

I have been wanting to go to Alaska forever. I have family there and have never gotten to visit them. My cousin has been trying to get me and the rest of my family to come up for a long time. We have considered it off and on, whether to just go up for a visit or to take a cruise while we are up there. We even looked into alaska hotels to see if we could find one that is near enough to visit family, but also to just enjoy the trip.

This lodge style hotel is just what I am looking for if we decide to go up. I want the full experience of the Alaskan “frontier” style vacation. This kind of hotel embodies that style to it’s fullest.

This is the kind of views you can expect to see in Alaska. I cannot imagine a more beautiful place on earth to visit, I asked my cousin how she could deal with the extreme cold during the winter and she said” The perfect summers make the harsh winters totally worth it”. Can you imagine a “perfect summer”? The perfect temperature all summer long without being too hot at any point is definitely worth experiencing. As much as I love to ski, I don’t think I would ever brave a winter vacation there though. That would be a bit too cold for me.

Tattoo

I think I am going to get a tattoo. I know that a lot of people don’t really like them, but some are really pretty and I have been thinking about it forever it seems. I finally found something I like, although I want my own version of it. This is what it is but mine will have birds instead of flowers in it.
