Word Press Security

There has been a lot of buzz about hackers targeting Word Press. This has forced the organization to issue a lot of updates and change the way they handle upgrades. I would like to upgrade my version on my own, but I have to rely on my system administrator to do it for me – when he has time. I wish there was an easier and faster way to do it. And more than that, I wish there were ways to catch the hackers and throw them all in jail so we don’t have to worry about this anymore.

Twilight DVD

All around town the Twilight DVD is running between $22 and $29, even though it was in theaters over 10 months ago. I kept thinking the price would come down to the $12 – $15 range at Wal Mart for most dvds, but I guess it was such a blockbuster hit that no one feels inclined to reduce the price if they can milk it a little longer at the higher price. I even checked Amazon for a better price, but no go.

One advantage to the Amazon web site is that they do list used dvds and used cds through resellers. I found a new Twilight dvd for $12 and the movie score on cd for under $20 together, including shipping. So all I had to do was wait 3 days for it arrive in the mail instead of driving to the local store and having the privilege of taking it home in hand.

My Claim Code

My brother fussed at me about not having a Technorati account and claiming my blog. To be honest, I don’t know why this is important, but since he is so insistent and usually knows what he is talking about, I’m going to give it a try.

I went to the Technorati site and the instructions say to put this code in a post, so that’s why this is here. Hope it works!
