The work that I do requires that I do a lot of traveling. Since our main office is in Virginia and our next biggest office is in North Carolina, I do a lot of traveling between the two. I often have to meet clients and keep them entertained when we are done with our meetings. One great way I’ve found to do this is to take them golfing. This makes it easy to make plans on short notice.
I have met many clients and had good results with this tactic. I take them golfing and keep them entertained. It often works out that I end up with their business and that looks good with the big bosses upstairs. It’s all thanks to the ability to get 48 hour tee times. The other bonus is that I get to play quite a few rounds of golf and I have no problem with that!
