Candy or Roses?

How about both! I bought two dozen red roses from the flower shop by my mom’s store and had them in a vase, waiting for my Bailey girl first thing this morning. Then at lunch time I sent a big box of chocolate dipped strawberries to her office. After work, we went to Outback Steakhouse for a delicious dinner. It was strange to go to Outback by ourselves – usually we go with a bunch of our friends. But tonight was about our special time together. The friends can have dinner with us another night!

We just got home and had to take care of the dogs and a couple of chores, but our night is not over, yet!

Thank You, Baby!

Yesterday was my birthday. Not a big landmark birthday, but a great birthday for me!

My babydoll, Bailey, had a very special night planned for me last night. I showed up after work and she took charge of the whole evening – dedicated to my pleasure.She thought of everything, right down to the cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream.

It was an awesome birthday, thank you babydoll.

Steelers Edge by the Cardinals

The Super Bowl was a lot closer than any of the experts were predicting. The last I heard, the official line was giving the Cardinals 6 and a half points in a loss. But the Cardinals surprised everyone by springing ahead at the end of the 4th quarter and almost winning the game. If it wasn’t for cool heads on the part of the Steelers quarterback and coaching team and a little luck, the Cardinals might have indeed won. But the Steelers dug deep and found a way to make the last two plays count when they needed them most. If was just a toe tap away from victory, but the Steelers won their 6th Super Bowl game – an outstanding achievement by any measure.

Way to go, Pittsburgh!
