Empty Savings Accounts

Things (the economy) just are not turning around fast enough for most people. People’s savings accounts are being depleted quickly, more houses are being foreclosed on and the unemployment rate is still on the rise. I’m hearing way too many horror stories from so many people. This is going to be another rough holiday season for most of us. I know I’m not looking forward to it. I’m going to have to drastically down size my gift list, which I hope people will be understanding about. The family has even talked about doing away with our traditional gift giving this year. What a bummer.

My sister hasn’t been able to find a job in over six months and her unemployment is going to run out in the next few weeks. I don’t know what she is going to. She has been talking about getting one of those quick cash loans online, but is concerned with her bad credit history and all that goes along with that. I know that there are ways to rais? your credit score, so I advised her to use the Internet to see if she can find a reliable company that will help her out in her time of financial need.

Modes of Transportation Up For Sale

The amount of various modes of transportation sitting by the side of the road with For Sale signs placed upon them, are growing as the economy is still in such turmoil. At first is was mainly cars, then the boats and motorcycles started showing up here and there. Living out in the country as I do we are seeing more and more pieces of equipment used for transportation up for sale.

On my way home from work the other day I saw a boom lift sale, it didn’t have a price on it so I have no idea what kind of money they are asking. It has become the norm to see tractors and other used material lifts up for sale around here. But I swear there are more and more of them each and every day. I hate to see our local farmers struggling and having to sell their important pieces of farm equipment. This has been a miserable winter, let’s hope that the spring will be better for all of us.

Do It All By Myself

It’s a well known fact that people are fixing up their homes rather than buying new ones. The fact that people can spend up to $20,000 on new kitchen cabinets just blows my mind considering how bad the economy still is. But there are people out there that are doing just that. Myself I am looking at a rta cabinet project. RTA stands for Ready To Assemble for those not familiar with some of the dyi terms. DYI stands for Do It Yourself.

I have a lot to research, and a lot to learn, but I enjoy working with my hands and learning new things and new tools, so it may take a bit longer than “normal” but I’ll get it done. And if I need some help or guidance along the way I have a few friends that I can turn to, but I really want to diabm, as much as possible. DIABM stands for Do It All By Myself.
