Monk

I don’t watch a whole lot of television these days. I mainly work the night shift and daytime TV sucks, even with getting all of these other channels that you get when you sign up with DirecTV. But there are some that I really enjoy and on the top of my list is Monk.

For some reason I have become fascinated with this poor man, a private investigator, who’s life is made so challenging due to the abundance of OCD issues. I have even read several of the books that have been published with stories of Mr. Monk and am looking forward to reading more when they come out, which should be soon.

Buying a new small 7″ laptop

I’ve been in the market for a new laptop and I have found one that I think will do the trick that I have ordered online from Wal-Mart today. It is an Everex 7″ CloudBook, a very portable laptop that I will be able to tuck in my back pack or hand bag and take practically every and anywhere that I go. I’ll be able to use it almost anywhere for personal and business usage, and even take it to class or the library for making notes. It only weighs a little over 2 pounds and I can’t wait to get an email telling me that it has arrived at the store and then I can go pick it up and get the initialization process over with and see how this baby drives!

I saved the shipping and handling charges that would have been $9, by having it sent to the store, instead of being delivered to my home address, I like that policy. I’ll let you know how this little laptop handles when I get it all figured out. I’m a bit nervous, I’m not the best when it comes to all these electronic gadgets and I’m sure I’ll be needing to call either one of my sisters or my brother for assistance, but I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

Hello world!

Ahoy mates. I’m a middle aged, recently divorced, woman that spends most of her time on her computer and attending Pirate Conventions and Renaissance Festivals, that is when I’m not busy playing the bar keep while tending bar at the very busy and popular local town pub and usually dealing with a very thirsty and sometimes rowdy crowd.

Why don’t you pull up a stool, have a sit and sip on your favorite spirit and take a look at my world!
