Keeping Up With The Times

It is amazing how the Internet has so drastically changed the way we all are conducting our business. It is so very important to keep up with the times and having the best website design possible makes all difference in the world to the numerous online merchants and businesses. There is so much to offer in ways of website design these days that it really does pay to have the job well and the job done right from the start.

I know that I have been doing most of my research and purchasing most of what I need online and if the website isn’t up to par and user friendly, I go somewhere else. It’s amazing how some of the sites that I have run across don’t even post what type of payments they accept. Like if they accept Pay Pal, Visa, Master Card, Discovery, etc. I don’t like having to dig around in order to find something out that should be on the home page to begin with. And if they offer free shipping that should be stated up front as well. It only makes sense to me to let your prospective customers see information like so that they know right from the start if your terms are appropriate for them or not.

Spam

I’m so tired of receiving so many comments that turn out to be Spam! Each time I log in here I get excited at the prospect of seeing many comments, then to find out that they are always some spammer trying to get links to their sites that 9 times out of 10 are about sex and drugs! Arg……

Immigration Issues

I know that I poke fun at our immigration issues from time to time, but I do know what a major concern this “hot topic” is to so many people. This is an important topic that is growing and growing, not just in the great state of California, but all over the United States as well.

President Obama has his hands full with so many issues to sort out and deal with. I can only pray that during his 4 years in office that he can get a handle on many of the problems that we are finding ourselves faced with these days. In the mean time it’s good to know that there are people out there that are dealing with immigration and trying to help each and every day. I was reading an interesting news article about a particular denver immigration lawyer who has been a full service immigration law firm for over ten years and I thought I might post it here for all to read.

Hate Saying Good Bye

I stopped in at my bank today to say good bye to one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The first time we spoke I knew that I liked her and she has made my weekly trips to the bank a lot of fun. She is expecting her second child come October 30th and is leaving her job to become a full time mother. Today was her last day. I wish her all the luck in the world. I will miss her, but she did give me her email address so that we can send emails and keep in touch along with the sending of the new baby pictures now and then.

Trick or Treat!

I have always enjoyed celebrating Halloween to the fullest each year. It just dawned on me that this year I will be as big as a boat (due to the pregnancy) come the end of October, so I’ve started looking at some plus size sexy costumes that are available online. Just because I’m pregnant shouldn’t mean that I can’t still participate in the Halloween festivities that are so much fun.

I’m always looking for Free Shipping deals and I also look forward to using my PayPal account with my online purchases, that is a great perk to find that I try and take advantage of.

Besides going to parties during the fall, I like to dress up for the trick and treaters that always arrive at the door looking for candies and goodies to be handed out. I wonder how they will re act this year when I open up the door with a nice one of the nice sexy costumes of my choosings.  Halloween is right around the corner, the summer days are getting shorter each day, sigh…….

It’s a Scorcher Out There

We have been hitting new record highs this past week, with the temperatures hitting the high 90’s. We have been pretty lucky this summer, but I think that our luck has run out at this point. I’m staying inside in the air conditioning as much as possible and waiting for milder weather to once again return. We won’t even go into the allergies that are kicking in!
