 The one thing not mentioned here is that since Jose Illegal has all that money left over, he sends a good share of it to Mexico to help support THEIR economy and legal citizens.

Hate Saying Good Bye

I stopped in at my bank today to say good bye to one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The first time we spoke I knew that I liked her and she has made my weekly trips to the bank a lot of fun. She is expecting her second child come October 30th and is leaving her job to become a full time mother. Today was her last day. I wish her all the luck in the world. I will miss her, but she did give me her email address so that we can send emails and keep in touch along with the sending of the new baby pictures now and then.

Trick or Treat!

I have always enjoyed celebrating Halloween to the fullest each year. It just dawned on me that this year I will be as big as a boat (due to the pregnancy) come the end of October, so I’ve started looking at some plus size sexy costumes that are available online. Just because I’m pregnant shouldn’t mean that I can’t still participate in the Halloween festivities that are so much fun.

Besides going to parties during the fall, I like to dress up for the trick and treaters that always arrive at the door looking for candies and goodies to be handed out. I wonder how they will re act this year when I open up the door with a nice one of the nice sexy costumes of my choosings.  Halloween is right around the corner, the summer days are getting shorter each day, sigh…….

It’s a Scorcher Out There

We have been hitting new record highs this past week, with the temperatures hitting the high 90’s. We have been pretty lucky this summer, but I think that our luck has run out at this point. I’m staying inside in the air conditioning as much as possible and waiting for milder weather to once again return. We won’t even go into the allergies that are kicking in!

Extreme Weather

We have been experiencing some extreme weather around here lately. Each night we are hearing loud, rolling thunder and the light shows have been awesome to watch from inside the house. I’m just grateful that no one has been hit by all the lightening so far and no trees have been damaged much. Not a lot of rain has come down though, but enough to where I don’t need to water the lawn and the gardens.

Wally World Issues

I can tell you that there are oh so many reasons that I hate to go to Wal Mart, parking is one of them and right now with all of the 4th of July holiday shoppers out and about, the place is really a nightmare. The crowds are overwhelming, the sales clerk are very grumpy and the whole store looks like it hurricane hit it, what a disaster area that place was last night.

To top it all off, it starting raining as soon as we left the house and continued through out the entire evening and well into the night, walking a mile to the parked car, loaded with 2 carts full of food and other newly purchased products, in the rain was not my idea of a good time. Bad enough that we had to stand in line for over 25 minutes and the place was full of screaming unruly children that brought on a total migraine experience! Give me a break!

Words to Live By

I’ll never forget the very first wedding I attended as a tween, the father of the bride made a toast to the bride and groom and I’ll always remember it. It’s an Irish blessing that I’ve always loved, and I use it when I have to make a toast, such as at weddings and even company events:

“May you always have walls for the winds,

a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,

laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,

and all your heart might desire.”

Good words to live by, wouldn’t you say!

With so many online dating sites available it would be wise to check and see what you possibly could be getting into, I know I would if I ever went that route. Times are a changing and you need to keep up with the times, safely and using your head and common sense.

Sad News Just Keeps Coming

First we hear about Ed McMahon, not too shocking since he was getting up there in age and hasn’t been in the best of health lately. Then we hear about Farrah Fawcett fight with cancer that finally ended with her passing, hopefully in peace. When it was announced about Michael Jackson’s sudden demise and Farrah’s story was put on the back burner. And now Billy Mays has left this world due to a heart attack. These are all sad stories to hear and read about and I hope that we won’t be experiencing any more until we are able to digest all that has happened in the last few weeks.
