Trick or Treaters, I’ll Be Ready for Them

This year I’m going to play it smart a buy Bulk Candy to use for the trick and treaters that will be knocking at my door this Halloween. It is only a month away so I have time to find the best bargain that I can find, using the Internet of course. I am going to find the type of candy that I like to hand out so that all the left overs won’t go to waste, like the clark bar. Of course I can always take a good amount to work to share with the ladies there to snack on, but it would be nice if I could enjoy them as well. I like candy, but not all types.

I’ve received a few Candy Baskets before as gifts, throughout the years, and have only eaten some of the candy and the rest just goes to waste, which isn’t cool. It’s a good thing that most candy has a pretty long shelve life and keeps for a pretty long time. Nothing worse than biting into something that is stale and nasty!

We usually get a good amount of trick or treaters in this neighborhood, but you never know how much to buy, so it is a guessing game. And if the weather is bad and the kids don’t come out you can be stuck with a ton of icky candy to try and eat and get rid of, sigh…..

I’ll Try Anything Once, Twice if I Like It

The gals that I work worth and I have become such good friends over the years. We have so much fun at work, sharing stories, food, pictures, clothes, recipes, CDs, DVDs, germs, books, computers, etc…… We have quite a diverse group, one that is kept in one room all day, so we know each other fairly well at this point.

Jay Leno For A Good Laugh at 10:00pm

I am anxious to see how Jay Leno fairs in his new 10:00pm time slot that is scheduled to start next Monday evening, September 14th. We really need a good light hearted show at 10:00pm, I think that it will be a much needed success. Conan O’Brien just really bites, he just doesn’t measure up in my book.

Save The Date Cards for The Big Wedding

One of the girls at work has just recently became engaged and isn’t wasting any time in the planning of the big event. Folks don’t waste much time these day with their engagements, the wedding is being planned for October 30th, the day before Halloween. The office is all the buzz with all that it entails with the planning of a semi-formal wedding. So much to do, so little time, as the old saying goes.

We’ve been spending some of our down time utilizing the Internet to our best advantage. Technology has come a long way and has been instrumental in the planning of such life changing events. America’s Got Talent

One of the shows that I try and watch each week is America’s Got Talent. I understand that Britain’s Got Talent is excellent as well, too bad that I can’t watch their version as well. But thank goodness for YouTube because I can see a good amount of their talent there on occasion.

Hate Saying Good Bye

I stopped in at my bank today to say good bye to one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The first time we spoke I knew that I liked her and she has made my weekly trips to the bank a lot of fun. She is expecting her second child come October 30th and is leaving her job to become a full time mother. Today was her last day. I wish her all the luck in the world. I will miss her, but she did give me her email address so that we can send emails and keep in touch along with the sending of the new baby pictures now and then.

Trick or Treat!

I have always enjoyed celebrating Halloween to the fullest each year. It just dawned on me that this year I will be as big as a boat (due to the pregnancy) come the end of October, so I’ve started looking at some plus size sexy costumes that are available online. Just because I’m pregnant shouldn’t mean that I can’t still participate in the Halloween festivities that are so much fun.

Besides going to parties during the fall, I like to dress up for the trick and treaters that always arrive at the door looking for candies and goodies to be handed out. I wonder how they will re act this year when I open up the door with a nice one of the nice sexy costumes of my choosings.  Halloween is right around the corner, the summer days are getting shorter each day, sigh…….

Words to Live By

I’ll never forget the very first wedding I attended as a tween, the father of the bride made a toast to the bride and groom and I’ll always remember it. It’s an Irish blessing that I’ve always loved, and I use it when I have to make a toast, such as at weddings and even company events:
