All website owners need an extra informational resource, you know something to help us with optimizing search engines, Online Marketing and web resources. I have found that websiteoffice.com offers me a lot of helpful stuff and even explains to me how to use it all, not the ordinary “we’ll let you download it but you figure it out so deal” This tool has made a lot of my web hosting a lot easier to bear and really less time consuming than going to multiple websites for all the same tools that I’m finding here folks
Never Too Old to Learn
I have to tell you that I really thought that you had to be an IT in order to gain remote access to a computer, I mean every place that I ever worked at, if you had problems with your desk computer you called Tech Support and they somehow always managed to gain remote access to the darn thing and before you knew it, all was running smooth once again. Well usually that was the case any way. I always wondered how they could do that, but never thought to ask.
I was having issues with my laptop over the week end and was crying to blues to a friend when she told me that her cousin was a whiz with computers and could help me if I allowed her to gain remote access to it. That really through me for a loop and got my curiosity up and running.
After my computer was acting better, a shout out to my friend’s cousin by the way, I went online and looked around a bit on the subject of remote access and found that anyone can get the software that is needed to safely gain access to another computer. Remotepc.com has the means to securelyand quickly access your Internet enabled computer, whether it be at work or home. They even have a demo that is worth the time to check out and learn from if you feel the need to learn more as I did. Now I know!
Education
I’ve been thinking about going back to school, but I can’t decide what classes I would like to take. And I don’t want to do this on the Internet, I want to experience going back into the classroom and being able to discuss things with actual people. You would think that I wouldn’t have any desire to be around people after working with the general public as much as I do, already being in the bar tending trade and all. But I really feel the need to be able to feed, I guess you could say, off of other people’s ideas and suggestions.
I hated school when I was younger, it is such a shame that youth is wasted on the young. I really think that at this point in my life I could really concentrate and do a good job, if I set my mind to it.
I guess going to the website of our local community college would be a good idea to see what courses are being offered and maybe take it from there, see if anything catches my eye.
Online banking is easier than I thought
My sister has been nagging me for years to take the plunge and start managing my banking needs online and I have finally started doing so just recently and have found that it really is pretty easy and extremely helpful. And now that I have learned how to do that task I am starting to pay a lot of my monthly bills online also. It just makes good economic sense, what with the price of gas and the US Postal Service keeps raising the price of postage stamps, to be able to do the monthly tasks from right at home.
I have only had a few problems with the company not receiving the payment that I had submitted online, but both times the problem was resolved quickly and no extra charges were incurred, thank God.
I’ve always been gun shy with new technologies that are always coming out, I mean it took years for me to even consent to purchase a microwave oven. And now I don’t know what I would do with out one.
Sweet Tea made the correct way
I was reading a blog authored by a woman, Elena Redmond, that I turn to once in a while and enjoy reading and found was so excited to find the recipe to the correct way to make Sweet Tea, I heard about this recipe on T.V. a few months back but could not remember it to save me soul. So I was certainly tickled to find it today.

Getting better at bar trivia
Guest post written by Anna Bishop
When I first moved in with my roommates after college, we didn’t really have a whole lot in common. I guess maybe it was beacause we all only had mutual friends or mutual friends of mutual friends. But since then we’ve found something that unites us, bar trivia.
After a long day at work in the middle of the week, there’s nothing more that I love than totally beating a bunch of strangers with my knowledge of useless trivia. But I like to find different bar trivia places to go to each week. I was online looking up some of the better trivia places in Chicago when I ran across some info on Chicago wireless internet providers. After I looked through it some, I shwoed it to my roommates and we changed over our home internet service to it.
I think that our bar trivia skills are getting even better. It just so happens works that we all have a different area of expertise, so we know the answers to a whole bunch of the answers. If anything, it’s ecnomical because we win free drinks when we win!
It’s Always All About The Money
I’m glad that I was sent a link to a web site that explains the risks of day trading. I have been hearing a lot about online trading, but it has all been good and positive things about it and not one word of caution about it at all. Not that I have any money to do any investing with at this point and time. But one day I hope the economy will let up and we can start enjoying life the way we used to before our government screwed it all up for us.
If you want to read about the risks of day trading you can go to daytradingcenter.net and read about it there as I did.
“EYES ON THE PRIZE” TOUCHES THE SOUL
Thanks to Roman May
What started out as a typical movie night at a girlfriend’s house, ended up in a historical lesson neither of us will ever forget. That night the Public Broadcasting Station began the airing of the documentary “Eyes on the Prize”. This is an award winning documentary about the American Civil Rights Movement and covers the period from 1954 to 1985.
The documentary is a series lasting 14 hours. My girlfriend would record the program from her directstartv.com and we would parcel it out over seven viewings. Be prepared, it will hook you and you will find a way to watch all 14 hours.
There were so many aspects of the documentary that fascinated the history buff in me, naming one is impossible. The power of one to ignite action as shown through the footage of the Montgomery Bus Boycott sparked by the arrest of Rosa Parks for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white person was inspiring. How can you forget the footage of the hanging of Emmett Till, a 14 year old boy, because of his color? The documentary is filled with various aspects of the movement including the Freedom Rides, passage of the Voting Rights Act, and, of course, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Eyes on the Prize” leaves an impression on your soul. That’s why it is my favorite.
Martha and Conan in the Potting Shed
My sister loves finding, watching and sharing videos off of YouTube.com. This video with Conan O’Brien and Martha Stewart is totally off the wall, not something that you would expect to see Ms. Martha involved in, Conan on the other hand, who knows what will be coming out of his mouth!
TV Channels
I have been getting burned out on TV lately, not that I have a lot of time to sit down and watch a lot of TV but when I do I want to watch something entertaining and/or interesting. There are way too many shows about crime going on that people are turning to and turning on each night, not me I’m looking for something that will make me laugh or teach me something.
The Animal Planet has been on my TV a lot these past few weeks, along with the Discovery and History Channels. They do and can provide me with a lot of good quality information that I know I can trust to be accurate and reliable.
