I can’t believe that I had not noticed before how most of the sitcoms and other “comedy” TV shows are mainly about deception in one form or another. Next time you get the chance to watch any of these shows pay attention and you will see what I mean. They are filled with lying, trickery, arguments and deceit from beginning to end. It makes to sad to think that we are all watching these shows and being entertained by such bad and rude behavior that is becoming so very abundant in today’s world.
It’s always gratifying to see that you made a good decision on some of the items/gifts that you have managed to purchase just a few months ago. Like the fender amps that I took such a good amount of time researching all kinds of the various affordable fender amps out there and basically crossing my fingers that I had made a good choice. I didn’t buy the cheapest nor did I dish out the cash for the most expensive top-of-the-line one either. In the long run, you do get what you pay for, more often time than not. So I try to go somewhere in the middle if at all possible
So while waiting for dinner to finish up last night I was do just a bit of looking around and saw that the price that I paid for the fender amps back in late October were indeed a good deal. Which surprises me considering how right now is a good time to get deals with all the summer sales that are still going strong and of course the 4th of July is right around the corner which is a good time for them to get rid as much as last years items as they can. A crazy time for the good folks in retail.
It seems to me that any type of legal translation services (off or online) would be welcomed all across the country. With so many people traveling as much as they do these days and so many languages being spoken ( estimated to be between 5 and 6 thousand) there is certainly a great need to be able to communicate.
With this in mind I certainly wish that I had buckled down more in school and taken more languages classes. I did take 7th grade Spanish, twice. Once in 7th grade and then again in summer school because my mother didn’t have day care for me during the summer months so I had to take Typing and Spanish that summer. I can type really good, but as far as the Spanish that is a whole other ballgame.
It very well could be that I would have been making some pretty decent money at this time of my life. The Spanish language is widely used in so many areas of the world, or at least some type of Latin based language. I can muddle through a bit with many Hispanic people that I run across during my daily life, but to be able to hold a decent conversation, much less translate, no can do.
Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the tick will come out on its own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. This technique has worked every time I’ve used it (and that was frequently), and it’s much less traumatic and easier for me. Unless someone is allergic to soap, I can’t see that this would be damaging in any way. I even had a nieghbor call me for advice because she had one stuck to her back and she couldn’t reach it with tweezers. She used this method and immediately called me back to say, ‘It worked!’
Every once in a while a product that’s been on the shelves for a long time but never got your attention before will suddenly grab your attention and end up in your shopping cart. Sometimes it is placement on the store shelves that moves and you realize you are out of your routine. Sometimes it is new packaging, such as brighter colors on the box design or change from a box to a resealable bag. Sometimes it must be a mental response to a commercial or even subliminal advertising. Well, whatever the reason, today I noticed a bag of chicken jerky in the aisle for dog treats. It seemed to be a good sized bag with multiple treats inside, so I decided on a lark to buy a bag and see if my dog likes them. We haven’t broken into the bag yet but I’ll let you know if they are a hit or a miss.
A few months ago my dear friend Russel called me shortly after my arrival home from work, and he wanted me to meet his girlfriend he thinks is “the one” and wanted to see if they could possibly come visit us for a few days to visit not only the kids and I, but his girlfriends parents live only a few blocks from me so they also wanted to meet my friend Russel. Shortly after both Russel and his girlfriend arrived his girlfriend got pulled on my daughters room by of course my daughter who wanted to show her everything LOL!
It was then that Russel admitted to me that he’s going to ask her to marry him a few days after meeting her parents and he needed help finding an engagement and wedding ring. I told him we could search for one later on that night after his girlfriend and my kids went to sleep. We stayed up all night looking for the perfect rings and he decided to go the smart shopping and found wedding bands for women on an awesome website that offered beautiful rings for unbelievable prices that wanna make you sing. After ordering the perfect ring he is so confident and is do excited about the day he asks. I’m so happy I got to meet Russel’s girlfriend, and so happy to help my dear friend Russel find the perfect ring for the perfect woman.
