Good news from Texas

I love hearing from my sister whenever I can. Ever since she moved to Texas, I don’t see her as much as I used to. We used to be very close and I miss her a lot. I do get to talk to her on the phone from time to time in order to catch up on the latest gossip. This time was a little more interesting than most as she told me about the legal trouble she was having.

Her ex-husband was late on his child support payments and it was not looking good. He wanted to dramatically cut his payments. Luckily, she has an Austin family lawyer to help her out. Winning the battle

There are many things that temp us in our lives. It may be a different thing for each person, but nearly everyone has some kind of temptation or another. My mom has always been tempted by food. No matter how much she tries, she always seems to be unable to resist eating more than she should. This has resulted in her being a little overweight. We have been looking for ways to help her lose the weight she gained.

We all love mom and want her to be healthy. Losing some weight would help her do just that. Her body is a little frail and so it’s hard for her to do a lot of exercise and so we were looking for another way to do it. We decided that weight loss pills might be the answer. Big Events

The thing that I really like about my family is that everyone is very adventurous. My son and my daughter as well as my wife like to try new things all the time. They are not as picky as some people are and will do things just because they can. That’s why I don’t mind ordering tickets to events that I would like to go to. I know they will all agree to try whatever items I present.

One of my latest inklings has been to see the circus again. I remember as a kid going to the circus and I wanted my kids to have the same memories as well. I ordered Ringling Brothers Circus Tickets online and we all had a great time. I love to see the elephants do their thing and the clowns were especially good. I was glad I went and had the chance to see my kids enjoy the show.

I have some other trips planned and both of them will be wonderful I believe. One is the Kyle Field Tickets I have and the others are the Cowboys Stadium Tickets that a friend of mine gave to me. I am sure 5that both of these events will be awesome and I hope my family enjoys them as well. I look forward to going to additional events in the future. It will all be great I’m sure and I hope everyone can take their families as well.

Christmas Time in Hollis Queens

Okay, so I’m not from Queens. In fact, I’m not even from New York, in the traditional sense. I live upstate. Weird, I know. Sometimes I ask myself why. But I try to avoid that question.

Anyway it’s the holiday season in New York and that only means one thing: basketball. More to the point, New York Knicks fans have already recieved the gift they’ve asking for for years – – – hope. The Knicks are on a seven game winning streak.. But there is, I suppose, one more gift to be asked from friends, family, strangers, really anyone in proximity.

Tickets.

Madison Square Garden is the best venue in the world. Granted I’m biased, but nothing matches the energy of the Garden. Oh how I have longed for the days when I could wear my apparell at the garden with pride. I remember when I was a kid, living in, you guessed in Queens (Forest Hills). My father and I would leave early, he’d set the home security alarm (Adt security online offer) and say something truly touching like, “you can never be too careful in this god forsaken town.” Then we’d run to our local bakery, he’d have coffee and I’d scarf down a black and white cookie. “Maybe Santa will give us a win,” he’d say.

Improving

There are so many people who struggle with weight loss. One of these people is my cousin Judy. She has always been a bit on the heavy side and it has affected her life in many ways. She has tried many things in order to keep her weight under control, but somehow she always gains back the pounds. I was worried about it and so I tried to see if there was a way to help.

I went online and did some research about weight loss. It took some time to figure out what was going on but I finally found a pretty good site. No Problem

The one thing everyone in my family has in common is our love of food. Whenever the holidays roll around, we always have plenty to eat. Everybody has their own specialties they make and bring for the rest of the family to enjoy. While that’s a pretty good thing, it does lead to some overeating for some. I must admit that I have been guilty of that myself.

Now that the holidays are almost over, it’s time to start thinking about shedding the extra pounds I put on. When it comes to weight loss though, it can be difficult to do. I talked with many people about the problem and heard that there are weight loss pills you can take on the internet. I thought I might try some out and see how they do. After all, what could it hurt?

Moving On

There comes a time in most people’s lives when they have to make a move. This is happening to my cousin who was recently married. Her new husband has decided to move her to Texas so that he can start his career there. The problem is that they don’t have a lot of money to start with and finding a house in Texas can be difficult. We visited the area to see what we could find.

We looked around for awhile and finally found a house they liked. The house was in bad repair so we needed to find some help in making the place livable. I contacted some carpet cleaning services in austin in order to get the rugs cleaned. I also found some water damage companies austin that could fix the damage in the kitchen. I knew it would take some time, but it would be worth the effort when the house was fixed.

One of the best features about the house was the entry hall. There is a beautiful stone carving that adorns the mantle. It took some time, but I found a travertine cleaning austin company that could do the work. This young couple will have it made once the house is ready to move into. I am just glad I could help them get started and I wish them well in their new lives.

Coming Fast

Nearly everyone in my family has been really busy lately. What we all found out was that Christmas is sneaking up on us fast. I don’t think that any one of us is really prepared for it and so we had to come up with some gift ideas pretty quick. I was fortunate enough to remember a site I had visited before called jk adams. It was there that I knew I could find some excellent gifts.

One item that caught my eye on the site was a jk adams cutting board. I had a feeling that there were many people in my family who would like to have one of those. I thought how great it would be to knock down our Christmas list by ordering a few of them. Since I was on the site anyway, I decided to see what else I could find.

While the site has many things, there was one other item that I took a fancy too. It was the jk adams spice rack. I thought it was pretty cool and so it became clear to me that it would be a nice gift. I knew my mom needed to organize her kitchen some and that would be a great way to help her out. I am glad I was able to find so many great gifts this close to Christmas. I think I’ll start my shopping a little sooner next year and avoid the last minute rush.

That time of year

It’s that time of year again when the turkey will soon be in the oven. This has always been one of my favorite times of the year and I am sure that this year will be no different. We plan to have some family over tomorrow and have been spending the day cleaning up the house for company. We also did some shopping at the grocery.

It’s always nice to see the family. I’m sure we will all watch the football game and relax in the living room. Of course, it’s always nice to see the family leave when the day is over as things can get a little hectic!
