One thing I really enjoy is a slow Sunday morning. Today is one of those days and I am glad I am here to enjoy it. I have the day off from work and most of my chores are done. I have some time to do whatever I want. I think I’ll use my time to watch a movie.
We have just finished breakfast and are settling down on the couch. I am going onto Netflix and downloading a movie we can all watch together. I think it will be a fine chance to rest and relax.
Since our family always seems to be growing, we have a lot of discussions about our babies. One issue that came up recently was Newborn Hats. I know it may seem trivial too many people, but it is an important part of helping a baby grow up strong and healthy. My sisters agree that hats for babies are more than a trend and that they are very necessary.
Baby hats serve many purposes. They keep the baby warm when it’s cold out and provide our child with a bit of character. The hats provide shelter from the wind, sun, and colder temperatures. Hats can also be a bit of fun as we have some hats for Christmas, some for Halloween, and some for New Years Eve. We take them wherever we go and they always seem to be a topic of conversation.
This is one of the many Baby Issues we talk about every day in our home. We try our best to keep updated on all the different trends. In the end, it always seems to come down to what makes sense and what works for our particular baby. It’s always a work in progress for us. We consider ourselves to be good parents, but then again, so does everyone else.
One American icon has passed away. George Lindsey who played the part of Goober on the “The Andy Griffith Show” died at the age of 83. He will be missed by millions of Americans who loved him and the characters he played on T.V. and the movies.
Lindsey also starred on the long-running T.V. show “Hee-Haw” as well as numerous movies. I hope he will rest in peace.

I’m house sitting for one of my professor’s for the weekend. It’s pretty sweet, actually. They have an amazing house, with a nice, fancy hot tub on the deck. She said it was okay if I had a few friends over in the evenings, so tonight I am going to have some friends come over to cook out and hang out in the hot tub with me. I need to ask her about her adt security Raleigh system though. I don’t know if it goes on automatically at night, or not. I would hate to accidently set off the alarm going back in the house from being in the hot tub. That would be embarrassing! Can you imagine, the police coming and me explaining that I am house sitting for these rich folks? They probably wouldn’t believe me. I think it is really awesome that she trusts me so much to keep an eye on her place while she is gone. I think over the years I have proven myself to be a trustworthy person.
One thing my family has many heated discussions about is space. I don’t mean outer space such as the sun and moon, but I mean closet space. There is only so much space in our house and it all seems to be spoken for. We need to find an answer to this problem.
I believe that I may need to break down and buy the shed I’ve been wanting. I will be able to store some of my stuff in it and that will free up the garage for some of the children’s stuff. I am sure it will all work out as things always do.
The whole family piled into the car and we headed out to the annual parade for Saint Patrick. We got there early and I found a good place to park. We got out and headed down the street all dressed in green. We were a sight to see.
The parade finally started and it was worth the wait. There were many things going on and the kids had a great time. When it was over, we had a cookout at a local park. All in all it was a great day.
For those people who are around my age, you might remember the musical group called the Monkees. They had a few big hits of which the most famous was probably “Daydream believer”. It was a great song and a good memory for many people.
I was sad to hear that the so-called leader of the band Davy Jones died on Wednesday after complaining of chest pains. We are sorry to see him go he was a part of our lives and many people like me are sorry to see him go.
I recently went on a road trip to visit some old friends of mine. Their names are skip and Barbara and they live on a farm in central Virginia. While I know how to get there fairly well, (I have been there before). It can be a difficult place to find. They live on a gravel road and they always tell me to look for a red fence. The problem is that there are many red fences in the area.
I mentioned to Skip that he might want to consider getting some personalized address plaques for his home. It would be so much easier to know for sure where to turn. I found a site online that has many residential address plaques for sale. They are fairly cheap and make a nice addition to any location. Allowing visitors to your home to find it easily will make everyone happy.
Skip was glad for the advice and said that he would look into the situation right away. His wife Barbara also liked the idea. they seemed to decide that the bronze address plaques would be best for them. I rest assured that the next time I visit them I will be able to find them without a problem. This makes a lot of difference even though it is a small improvement. I wish everything was as easy as this.
I have been in many situations in my life. The situation I am in now is new to me. I am helping my sister find a new home in Texas. She has decided to move and is looking for a house to purchase. Since I have some experience in this area, she asked me to help. I told her that I would be glad to help in any way I could. I had a few ideas that I wanted to try.
My sister wanted a home that she could afford. This meant that she might want to look into houses that needed a bit of fixing up. After some searching, we found one we liked and thought it would be a great house for her. While the house was basically sound structurally, it did need a bit of cleaning up. My back was killing me the other day at work. I was just in the middle of speaking with HOme SecuritY Family on the phone when I was literally crippled with pain. I quickly told the representative that I was going to have to call her back. I took some Advil and tried to get back to work. Thirty minutes later my back and abdomen were hurting again. The pain got so bad that I had to leave work. By the time I left, I could barely drive. A co-worker convinced me that I need to go to the emergency room and gave me a ride. She called my husband and he met me up there. Much to my surprise, I was told that I was going to have to have surgery. I had an appendicitis. It didn’t occur to me that my back ache that had turned into stomach ache was so serious. I am so glad that my co-worker convinced me to go to the emergency room. My doctor told me that I made it just in time.
