Auctions

As I was driving down the road the other day I noticed a sign that was advertising auctions. I used to go to auctions when I was young with my father. I thought it would be pretty cool to go to another now that I am an adult.

The auction is today and I am excited about going to it to see what is happening. I am always interested in finding things that are interesting to me. I may buy something or I may not, but I am sure that I will have a good time.

Green business

There are many areas of the economy that are not performing all that well. We all know that. The good news is that some areas of the economy are doing very well. Those who are smart and who get in on the ground floor of these businesses will have a bright future. That’s why I made a suggestion to my next door neighbors son Charlie that he should think about getting some training and starting his own business.

One area of business that is really taking off is green technology in homes. People want lower heating and air bills and are willing to pay for it. The government provides many tax incentives in many cases and it’s good for our environment. Many people are now looking to starting a home energy audit franchise. This is a golden opportunity for those who are willing to learn about it.

The internet will be the backbone of these new businesses and there are people who can help you get started. You can find training as well as marketing home improvement business plans. They can provide the knowledge and experience needed for contractors websites marketing. I think Charlie will be glad I mentioned this to him and I wish him the best in his new career.

Slow Sunday morning

One thing I really enjoy is a slow Sunday morning. Today is one of those days and I am glad I am here to enjoy it. I have the day off from work and most of my chores are done. I have some time to do whatever I want. I think I’ll use my time to watch a movie.

We have just finished breakfast and are settling down on the couch. I am going onto Netflix and downloading a movie we can all watch together. I think it will be a fine chance to rest and relax.

Topping a baby

Since our family always seems to be growing, we have a lot of discussions about our babies. One issue that came up recently was Newborn Hats. I know it may seem trivial too many people, but it is an important part of helping a baby grow up strong and healthy. My sisters agree that hats for babies are more than a trend and that they are very necessary.

Baby hats serve many purposes. They keep the baby warm when it’s cold out and provide our child with a bit of character. The hats provide shelter from the wind, sun, and colder temperatures. Hats can also be a bit of fun as we have some hats for Christmas, some for Halloween, and some for New Years Eve. We take them wherever we go and they always seem to be a topic of conversation.

This is one of the many Baby Issues we talk about every day in our home. We try our best to keep updated on all the different trends. In the end, it always seems to come down to what makes sense and what works for our particular baby. It’s always a work in progress for us. We consider ourselves to be good parents, but then again, so does everyone else.

George Lindsey

One American icon has passed away. George Lindsey who played the part of Goober on the “The Andy Griffith Show” died at the age of 83. He will be missed by millions of Americans who loved him and the characters he played on T.V. and the movies.

Lindsey also starred on the long-running T.V. show “Hee-Haw” as well as numerous movies. I hope he will rest in peace.

Keeping things going

I have a friend who owns a farm. His name is Skip and his wife’s name is Barbara he lives in a house that is very unusual. He lives in a dome. The house is round and is made of concrete and is very secure. He owns many acres of land and is planning to raise goats and chickens when he retires soon. I have been helping him with some of the work that is necessary to make his dream come true.

We have worked together to build a fence to keep the goats in and the unwanted animals out. The only problem that he has is that his house is way out in the country. So if the power goes out he is usually the last one to have his service restored. Since the animals need constant attention, he is considering having a backup power system installed.

Skip wants to have a generator installed. This way he will be able to have the power he needs to keep his farm going if the power fails. We went online and have considered many options. Luckily, we found a company that can help. It is called generatorsatoz.com/ and they have just what he needs. I feel confident that Skip will have the ability to keep his farm going even when the rest of the county is without power.

Raising the Georgia

There are plans being made to raise the CSS Georgia. The ship has been on the bottom of the Savannah River for nearly 150 years. Officials want to raise the ship because it stands in the way of dredging machines needed to deepen the channel. The estimated cost will be about 14 million dollars.

The Georgia was a confederate iron clad used to protect the harbor near Fort Jackson.
The ship was scuttled by its crew in order to prevent its capture by Union Troops. Officials are still unclear as to what will happen to the ship when it is raised, but many believe it will end up in a museum somewhere.

Friends, Florida, and cars

Since my work takes me out of state every once in a while, I am sometimes able to visit friends or family if I am in the area. I was recently in Tampa, Fl and was able to see an old friend of mine named Bob. We went to college together and have stayed in touch ever since. It turned out that I had one whole day to do whatever I wanted and so I hung out with him.

The only thing that Bob really had to do that day was that he wanted to buy some Used Cars he could give to his children. He had gone online and watched some used car videos and wanted to get my opinion on the cars he liked. We found a place that we liked for used cars Tampa and that can be found at this web address http://www.parkautomall.com we got ready to head down to the lot.

We talked with the salesman and found two cars we liked. We made a pretty good deal to buy both cars and he was able to apply for credit right there at the store. When the deal was closed I think everyone was happy. We spent the rest of the day enjoying the kid’s faces as they saw their cars. All in all it was a great trip and I hope to back to Tampa Bay soon.
