Egypt if finally free

The country of Egypt has been through a lot lately. Demonstrations in the streets have finally paid off. The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has decided to resign and a new government will be formed. The resignation comes after weeks of protest in the streets of Cairo.

The only problem now is who will take over the power vacuum. The Egyptians have been semi-friendly with the Israelis and there is some doubt as to whether this will continue. For now, the Egyptian people are happy that change will come to their homeland.

I use my computer every day. There are so many things I do on a daily basis like checking my E-Mails, looking at the news, and storing my pictures. Flyover

The Super Bowl was pretty good this year. While the game was exciting, there are some people who question the wisdom of having the Navy using four F-15s to fly over the stadium that had the retractable roof closed. The fans inside had to watch the flyover on the big screen inside.

There are estimates that it cost the taxpayers somewhere between 100,000 and 400,000 thousand dollars in gas and other expenses. The navy says the cost was worth it as the flyovers are a good recruiting tool. There are many traditionalists who say the flyovers have become a part of our culture and are expected every year.

Good news from Texas

I love hearing from my sister whenever I can. Ever since she moved to Texas, I don’t see her as much as I used to. We used to be very close and I miss her a lot. I do get to talk to her on the phone from time to time in order to catch up on the latest gossip. This time was a little more interesting than most as she told me about the legal trouble she was having.

Her ex-husband was late on his child support payments and it was not looking good. He wanted to dramatically cut his payments. Luckily, she has an Austin family lawyer to help her out. One thing that everyone is talking about is the need for the U.S. to create more jobs. One area that we are doing well in is manufacturing. With recent increased demand for products, companies are falling behind in supplying them. This means they will be forced to hire more people.

One of the best areas that the U.S. is adding jobs in is the manufacturing arena. The trend is expected to continue for the near future and will help create the needed jobs. This will help the economy overall and raise the hopes of the American public who hope that the economy will improve.

Goodbye Guitar hero

The popular video game called Guitar Hero will soon stop being produced. The company called Blizzard Inc will stop making the game as sales are failing. The game was very popular for many years but interest has faded.

The game was fun for awhile and very profitable for the company. The problem was that it was expensive to make and many accessories are required. The company will go on though as it just released the popular “Call of Duty: Black Ops” game.

Good or Bad

Law and order is a very important part of our lives. The ability for Americans to walk down the street in relative safety is what makes our country so great. I respect our court system and believe that it works for the most part. There are also those who work the streets taking care of our citizens every day. The problem is that there are occasions when those we trust the most turn on us. I recently heard of one example of this behavior.

It’s hard to know the truth when you are not actually involved, but there are times when you must question the authorities. I know there are many cases of police harassment out there. Some people believe that the city of Orlando police are guilty of that. The story is that they tried to ruin a young mans life by harassing him after a traffic stop.

Despite the hard work of many law enforcement officials, police harassment happens a lot more than one may think. I know that no-one would actually condone it, but police harassment can happen even in the best of police departments. It only takes a few bad eggs to make it happen. I think we should all keep this in mind on a daily basis.

Winter storms cost a lot

The northeastern part of the country has been hit hard by winter storms this year. The storms have set many records for snowfall and are likely to go on for awhile yet. The big problem is the unrelenting cold has not allowed snow to melt as it usually does. This has been a big problem.

Many farmers are feeling the effects of the storms as their barns and outhouses have collapsed under the weight of the snow. Many animals have been killed and the financial losses are having an effect on their bottom line. I hope the weather improves very soon.

One thing that I truly believe is that the economy is rebounding. There are signs of it everywhere. I know there are others like me who want to get in on the ground floor of the recovery.
