A flag

One great thing about America is that we have so much history. The Wild West is a big part of that and there are many stories about it. One of the most famous stories is that of Custer’s last stand at the Battle of Little Bighorn. If there is anything that collectors love, its items from such historic events such as this.

One item to survive the years was the U.S. Cavalry flag that is known as a Guidon. The flag is the only one known that was not captured. The flag has been in the care of the Detroit Institute of Arts since 1895 and has finally been put up for sale. A private buyer bought the flag for $2.2 million dollars. It’s good to know that our history survives and is still of great interest to many Americans.

Friends

As I go through each day, I tend to notice the kind of clothes people wear. One thing that I have noticed lately is the fact that many people are wearing medical uniforms. One of my friends does this all the time and I asked him why he did it. He told me that the clothes were very comfortable and that he liked the way they looked. I had to admit that he looked very comfortable while wearing the clothes.

Another thing that he mentioned was the price. It seems that you can purchase cheap uniforms very easily. With the price of clothing these days, that is very important especially when people are trying to cut costs due to the economy. After talking with my friend, I decided that I would like to get in on the action. I went online to see what I could find.

After I had done a bit of searching, I came across a site called blueskyscrubs.com. They had a huge selection of scrubs for sale. I liked the way the site was set up and how they made it easy to purchase the uniforms. I knew that my wife would like to have some and considered what my children would think as well. All in all, it was a great experience and I was glad I had run into my friend.

Vehicle perks

In an age where the U.S. government and the individual states owe so much money, it’s disheartening to find that some lawmakers are taking advantage of the taxpayers. One such example of this is California lawmakers who are provided taxpayer-cars to ride around their districts in.

Over the last year, more than five million dollars have been spent to buy lawmakers new cars. One was a $55,000 dollar Cadillac. I would these people to make some sacrifices during these hard economic times. It’s only fair that they should share the burden of the cuts they are making to others.

Coming Fast

Nearly everyone in my family has been really busy lately. What we all found out was that Christmas is sneaking up on us fast. I don’t think that any one of us is really prepared for it and so we had to come up with some gift ideas pretty quick. I was fortunate enough to remember a site I had visited before called jk adams. It was there that I knew I could find some excellent gifts.

One item that caught my eye on the site was a jk adams cutting board. I had a feeling that there were many people in my family who would like to have one of those. I thought how great it would be to knock down our Christmas list by ordering a few of them. Since I was on the site anyway, I decided to see what else I could find.

While the site has many things, there was one other item that I took a fancy too. It was the jk adams spice rack. I thought it was pretty cool and so it became clear to me that it would be a nice gift. I knew my mom needed to organize her kitchen some and that would be a great way to help her out. I am glad I was able to find so many great gifts this close to Christmas. I think I’ll start my shopping a little sooner next year and avoid the last minute rush.

Godzilla

In the high seas of the remote Southern Ocean, there is a new force that will make a name for itself. The boat named Godzilla is 115 feet long and will help in the fight against Japanese whaling vessels. Sponsored by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the boat is the latest entry into the war against whaling.

The boat and crew will enter dangerous waters. The Japanese plan to have armed members of their Coast Guard on their whaling ships. Godzilla will be used to help find the factory ship where the whales are processed. I wish the ship good fortune and hope it will help save the lives of many whales.

Discretion

The winter weather is definitely coming on. It has had many implications on my life so far, but some things are more important than others. One small thing that has bothered me is the fact that my skin seems to be drying out because of the cold. I have been itchy all over and it is driving me crazy. That’s why I decided to check out some of the Skin Care products on the internet.

I was able to find a few items I liked. I must admit that I was a bit embarrassed when my wife walked in and caught me investigating Health and Beauty products, but I guess that’s how it goes sometimes. I think she understood because she is a little crazy about having the right Personal Care products that she uses all the time.

Anyway, I spent a few dollars getting the things I needed. The best part was that I didn’t have to go to the store and get the offending items myself. I am a little shy when it comes to things like this and it is good to get them over the internet and mailed to your house. I think privacy is a big issue with me and it’s good to be discreet.
