Researching Web Hosts

Hubby has been increasingly interested in getting up and creating his own web-site and has been doing a bunch of asking around folks and doing a good amount of researching on the Internet about which web hosting company to go with. Word of mouth is the best advertising, as always, but the Internet is a great way to go these days.

I’ve even started checking out a few things myself so that I will be able to talk with him about this issue and hopefully it will help me sound like I know what I am talking about and we can learn together, this will be an adventure, I’m sure.

Japanese Animation

My youngest has gotten into many things that I have absolutely no knowledge or background about. She has been reading and watching numerous Japanese animation books, TV shows, and movies. She has taken the time to show me one of the sites that she goes online for,  she showed me a page concerning Bleach Manga, who is character she has been following lately and I found quite interesting to read.

At least she is reading, it is a real challenge trying to get her to read just about everything. I don’t get it, hubby and I are both avid readers, while neither of our children want to pick up a book, except for the Japanese Animation books that are becoming more popular these days.

I went to the bookstore a few months back to see if they had any of these types of books that she is learning to enjoy, I was surprised at how many that they had. The young lady that was assisting me with locating them and then explaining them for me, told me that I was lucky that she was working the floor at that time because she was the only one in the whole store that read and knew anything about them. She was very friendly and helpful, I was certainly glad that she was working then also because I was way out of my field.

Starting An Online Business

A few months ago my oldest daughter and I were talking about possibly creating our own online printing business and decided to give it a go. An Ideal Birthday Idea For Hubby

Hubby has a birthday coming up in a few weeks and I was thinking of how is back is always giving him such trouble.  I seem to spend a good amount of time rubbing his back for him and I have to admit that it would be a relief not to spend so munch of my time on his aches and pains so that I can deal with my own issues, mainly menopause, ugh..

The 2012 Macanudo Cru Royale Collection – Sampler

Even though I have been a smoker of cigarettes, I have never tried to smoke a cigar. I have been offered on numerous ocassions to try one through out the years and always have turned the offer down thank you very much. Now don’t get me wrong I love the smell of cigars, always have, but smelling one and inhaling one are completely different. My grandfather always smoked a pipe or a cigar. I remember that enjoyed getting a variety of cigars throughout the years, getting him a present for Christmas and his birthday was always about picking out a different cigar for him to try. With as many kids and grand kids as he had, you can bet his humidor was always well stocked. And I remember that he always liked macanudo cigars the best. And now when I see cigars for sale I still find myself looking at all of the varieties with my late grandfather in the back of my mind and I always look to see what is going on with his favorite – the macanudo. I don’t think I’ll ever try a cigar. There are a lot of woman out there that do enjoy smoking them which is cool. What I’d really like to do is to stop smoking cigarettes all together. Something that I’ve been thinking about more and more of these past couple of years.

Natural Latex and Organic Cotton Mattresses

It seems that more people in my immediate family are experiencing some type of sleep issues. My one sister was just diagnosed with Narcolepsy and is no longer able to drive for fear of falling asleep while being behind the wheel. This has made a huge impact on her and her family that they are trying to adjust to upon hearing the news. The “Aha Moment”

Sometimes a new concept comes up in conversation and it really strikes you as an “aha moment.” When your brain wakes up to something new and worthwhile. During the family Christmas dinner, one of the things that we talked about – and we talked about a lot of things and someone mentioned how much stress they are feeling in their everyday life. I was thinking that although I don’t feel a lot of stress, that I do have this unsettled feeling that gets bothersome and I could use a little re-assurance or motivation. Then someone else at the party mentioned a TV show about finding balance between work and your home life.

In fact, there is a new network dedicated to this subject and I read about it this morning on MindfulLivingTV.com. This website is my “aha moment” because their philosophy is to embrace the life you are living and experience it for the moments you have. They have full transformation episodes that can inspire you to face your fears, get advice from experts on medical and spiritual issues, and find your passion. I have sent the link to this wonderful website to everyone that was at the dinner table, most of them will delete it but maybe at least one of them will take a moment to check out what they have to say and have their own “aha moment.”

It doesn’t take much to find all types of trivia these days, but I found this information on a print out that they give the customers at the coffee store that I go to once in a while. I don’t drink coffee, but once in a while I’ll treat myself to a nice hot mocha with whipped cream.
