My Little Boy Is a Prince

My little boy is a prince this year for Halloween and looks so cute that I almost cried when I first saw him all dressed up in his costume. Of course I had to take a dozen pictures of him in various poses, with the typical little boy wild and wacky faces that they seem to think will look cute!  LOL!

What a great time of year this is for children with so many upcoming holidays and events, from Halloween to Christmas, to visiting family and friends and being out of school. As much as I my kids drive me crazy at times, I really do enjoy having them home on the days that the school system allows them to be home. And the summer time is my favorite time of the year for so many reasons, but seriously right on top of that list is that my kids are out of school and at home or at relatives where I can look after them and enjoy them. You are only a kid once and I want to take advantage of all that they have got while they have it.

Looking forward to walking around the neighborhood this evening with my little prince collecting candy, so I’d better get going.

Thrift Stores Are The Way To Go For Winter Clothes

Each winter, no matter how hard I try and get the whole family prepared and outfitted for the nasty cold weather that we have to deal with, some one needs something. So tomorrow I’m heading out the door to the new A.S.P.C.A. Thrift Store that recently opened up here in town to pick up a few things. Going to look for some nice warm water proof boots for myself, my old ones just don’t cut it anymore and I don’t want to spend a lot of $$$.

I got a coupon in the mail for this new second hand store that benefits all the local animal population in so many ways, as you may know by now that coupons and I like each other.

My Brother and His Brood

My eldest brother who lives in the beautiful up state New York along with his second wife and their large brood of children, 5 all together, you know the typical, his, mine and ours kind of family. Hard times seem to be hitting all kinds of people all over, I had the impression that things were going fairly well with them until my mother filled me in otherwise.

He had sent her an email letting her and Dad know that they were going to file bankruptcy and have hired a well known New York bankruptcy lawyer services firm that came highly recommended by his manager at the company where he and his wife both work.

I hope big brother and his family will get through this all right, I worry about him sometimes, but that is what sisters do, at least ours do.

The Task Of Ordering Machine Handles Online

The days of running all over town, and sometimes needing to go to neighboring towns, to find items that are so easy to order Online such as the machine handles that Hubby is needing. It is worth waiting a few days for the items to arrive at our door and ready to go.  It took all of 7 minutes to find the perfect handles and they should be here in time for him to get what he needs to do with them.

Now I can move on to other tasks that need to be tackled. My “To Do List” is never ending and always changing. And to  think that the Christmas season is looming straight ahead at us. Actually I just looked up how long before Christmas comes and it tells me it is 77 more sleeps, which equals ten weeks. OMG, makes my head hurt just thinking about it.
