Awesome gift giving idea – Hot Air Balloon Rides

I have always had an interest in Hot Air Balloons, I have several hot air balloon figures and paintings around the house. Hubby and I just missed an opportunity to purchase a genuine one for a very low price years ago and have kicked ourselves in the rear several times since than. Hot Air Balloon Rides are not as rare as they were back then either, now a days there seem to be Hot Air Balloon festival and events in almost every state somewhere.

During the summer and autumn months is when you get expect to see the majority of balloons in the air and I love it when at certain  times we can even see one or two when we are out and enjoying the backyard.

There is a website that my parents sent me called www.xperiencedays.com and they have listings and listings of adventures for sale. Interesting and fun ideas for you to experience ranging from cruises, horseback riding, air combat, drag racing, hang gliding and tons more of the coolest ways to have fun or relax. Every package is designed for the first timer which is a major plus! My parents are thinking of giving us a gift certificate that can be used to attend my dream of taking a ride in a hot air balloon at a place that is locating very near to were they have moved to in Florida, since retirement. I’ve got to tell mom that this is a great idea and I love the website that she sent me and will share it with many others I’m sure.

I am definitely going to bookmark this site for further investigation and use.

Real Estate App

This goconnect real estate app would have been a welcomed checklist tool back in the day when I was in the real estate business. I saw what was going on with our economy and ducked out while the pickens were good. That seems like a life time ago, but it really was only since 2007 when I stopped working full time and decided to stay home with the kids. Hopefully when the kids are both out of school and out of the house, the economy will have lifted up and read estate agents can get back to work and make a good honest living.

With all of the technology that still coming out there will be a lot more great tools that I can take advantage of when the time comes. I’m sure a lot of things will be different, but I think it will all come back to me, much like riding a bike!

An Email Hint From My Mother

My mother has been trying to talk Hubby and I into starting our own business for a few years now. She insists that we will get nowhere if we are working our butts off to line someone else’s pocket in the interim.

She sent me an email with some pretty interesting franchise information from a website called www.redhotfranchises.com, I must say they have a huge selection of business opportunities listed for review. Every kind of franchise you could imagine.

I did look it over and there are many that I find appealing but honestly I don’t think Hubby and I have the energy needed to start up something at this time. We still have our hand’s full with the kids and all of their needs seem to take up the majority of our time right now. But who is to say what the future has in mind for us, maybe one day we will take mom’s advice, but not this day. Right now my main concern is getting through the holidays and the start of a brand new year.

Thrift Stores Are The Way To Go For Winter Clothes

Each winter, no matter how hard I try and get the whole family prepared and outfitted for the nasty cold weather that we have to deal with, some one needs something. So tomorrow I’m heading out the door to the new A.S.P.C.A. Thrift Store that recently opened up here in town to pick up a few things. Going to look for some nice warm water proof boots for myself, my old ones just don’t cut it anymore and I don’t want to spend a lot of $$$.

I got a coupon in the mail for this new second hand store that benefits all the local animal population in so many ways, as you may know by now that coupons and I like each other.

My Brother and His Brood

My eldest brother who lives in the beautiful up state New York along with his second wife and their large brood of children, 5 all together, you know the typical, his, mine and ours kind of family. Hard times seem to be hitting all kinds of people all over, I had the impression that things were going fairly well with them until my mother filled me in otherwise.

He had sent her an email letting her and Dad know that they were going to file bankruptcy and have hired a well known New York bankruptcy lawyer services firm that came highly recommended by his manager at the company where he and his wife both work.

I hope big brother and his family will get through this all right, I worry about him sometimes, but that is what sisters do, at least ours do.

The Task Of Ordering Machine Handles Online

The days of running all over town, and sometimes needing to go to neighboring towns, to find items that are so easy to order Online such as the machine handles that Hubby is needing. It is worth waiting a few days for the items to arrive at our door and ready to go.  It took all of 7 minutes to find the perfect handles and they should be here in time for him to get what he needs to do with them.

Now I can move on to other tasks that need to be tackled. My “To Do List” is never ending and always changing. And to  think that the Christmas season is looming straight ahead at us. Actually I just looked up how long before Christmas comes and it tells me it is 77 more sleeps, which equals ten weeks. OMG, makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

It is never easy to see your pet(s) aging. There are so many health issues that come along with owning any type of pet throughout their whole life span, but when they get so old that you can see how they are suffering, it is a real bummer. Our 9 year old Pug is starting to show signs of aging and the pain that goes along with that. Bum Deal With JCPenney Order

It really burnt me up, I had been looking at these lofts for several months now, my daughter has sat with me many a nights looking at all of her options, bunk beds, day beds, trundle beds, lofts, and when we found a loft bed that offered a full size mattress size, so that when a friend sleeps over there will be room for the two of them, as of now they either squeeze together in her twin bed or one sleeps on the hard floor. They really don’t mind, kids can sleep just about anywhere but it will be so much more comfortable and roomy for her in many ways, that we fell in love with the one from J.C. Penney’s.

Since I have a credit card with that store I receive emails with promotions and when I received one offering free shipping on orders over $250 I then made my decision to order the loft then and now. After filling out all of the information of the order and going through the whole process, and the end they tell you that this purchase doesn’t qualify for the free shipping promotion, I was flabbergasted, but was tired and said what the hell and placed the order anyone and I will just have to suck up the loss.

Researching Homeowners Insurance Rates

The money that we shell out every month for our current homeowners insurance rates is really getting out of hand. This next up and coming weekend I plan on researching online other insurance company rates and see what I can come up with that will help reduce the amount of money that goes out each and every month. With the thought in mind that Christmas is really right around the corner I am getting anxious about how we are going to manage purchasing all of the gifts that we are obligated to hand out each holiday season.

I’ve been trying to cut back in any way that I can and the Internet is a great tool to help me with the overwhelming tasks required to make our budget a bit easier to tackle.
