About to pack up some luggage and hit the road to my moms home for the holidays. We will leave next week as soon as school is out. It is a long drive and we’ll have to get on the road before rush hour.

The only complaint I have this year is the same as last years: the cost of gas. I only hope that next year car manufacturers will start to sell more hybrids and alternative fuel cars so that if I have to buy gas at 3 dollars a gallon I can get a lot more miles out of each gallon.

Would be nice to have a car that ran off a battery and I could recharge it by plugging it into a home outlet. Then my solar panels would collect enough juice to charge up the car battery. Surely this will be a reality for Americans soon.

Anyways, enough dreaming for now, I am off to the real world. Write to you again soon.

Wanted to do a real quick post on Thanksgiving to wish everyone out there a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope you are able to spend the day with loved ones like I am.

This day has always been a special holiday around here, when all the family and friends get together and dine on some of the best home made cooking. All the women bring food with them, so there is a veritable feast on the sideboard.

Always fun to hear how everyone doing and what they are up to. This is a great holiday – very little pressure and lots of great food and conversation.

Well, time for me to start enjoying this great day so I will write to you later on.

Thats right! I am finally a member of the World Wide Web’s blogosphere, and I’m using WordPress to ride around in while I am here.

Has been a lot of fun reading other friends and strangers blogs over time on the internet, and the other day I decided to go ahead start up my own website. I am still tweaking out my WordPress, but I should have this baby up and blogging in no time.
