Daughter wants to check out on-line an Auto Loan

My Daughter has had her eyes on a certain 1991 Honda Civic, and I talked to her into checking out the Internet to see if they had an Auto Loans website to see if she was able to finance the car. So we checked it out, and come to find out she has bad credit. So I had told her to check it out again, to see if they had a website for Bad Credit Auto Loans, lo and behold she found one www.autoloansmania.com.

The website advertises Auto Loans for Bad Credit “No matter what your financial situation may be, we are here for you!” Sounds good to me, all we had to do was simply tell them what type of loan you were interested in getting approved for. Once you made a selection, you will be transferred to their secure auto loan application. “It couldn’t of been any easier than that” I said.

What a beautiful day

The day was so nice that Hubby and I just had to go outside and enjoy some of it, it was in the mid seventies! It rained all day yesterday (Sunday) and now we are in for a nice week, it least that is what they are saying today.

The yard is in need of so much that at first we were over whelmed, but we just dug in and soon the afternoon was almost over and we were getting hungry for dinner. I love that it can be 7:30pm and it is still light outside.

I can’t wait until the firefly’s start coming out, there is something magical about seeing them flittering about in the backyard. And we should be getting some hummingbirds again this year, they are so cool to watch!

Yardwork

It turned out the be such a nice warm day, it hit the 70’s and it is supposed to stay this way at least for a few more days. I hope that it stays longer than that.

After my youngest got home from school, I got her a snack and then got her started on her homework.  I then managed to sneak outside for a good hour and got my hands nice and dirty and got some weeding and raking done. Boy it felt good, all kinds of people were out and about, walking by and stopping to say a quick hello and a how do you do, enjoying the nice warm weather.

I also managed to half way clean off the back porch, I’m gonna need Hubby to turn the outside faucets back on, I don’t think we will be having anymore below freezing nights anymore, and so many things need a good hosing off.

I hope to be able and go back out again for just a bit tomorrow, a little at a time and it will all get down in due time.

Everybody’s Talking Part III

Baby factory: Catherine Delgado is a regular baby factory. The mother from Swansea, Wales, has given birth to seven children in the last five and a half years. The 35-year-old woman gave birth to her first child in 2001 and her second child in 2003. But the, a year later, she had twins. In 2007, three years after the twins arrived, Catherine had triplets. “It’s been absolutely shocking,” she says of her maternal record. Catherine, who owns a maid service, and her husband Juan, a maintenance worker, are over the shock now. “we are just thrilled about having three more children.”

Taken from Coffee News – “News to be enjoyed over Coffee”

I discovered that there is a restaurant that I really love is close by to where my sister moved last year.  I haven’t eaten there in over eight years, so last time I visited my sister, I stopped in an enjoyed a fabulous meal, that is where I picked up the copy of Coffee News that I have quoted lately.  It is a small flyer with advertising and interesting tid-bits that is fun to read anytime.

Two shows for daughter and me to watch

My youngest and I like for me to record on Wednesday evenings two shows for us to enjoy watching together at a later time of our choosing.  The two shows are SuperNanny and Wife Swap they both kind of go hand in hand, both are reality shows and both allow you to see what goes on in other people’s houses, family and work situations.  I guess maybe it makes us feel better about how our family gets along together and we are not nearly as messed up as these poor creatures seem to be.  It is a given that a man will be brought to tears on Wednesday evening, we just don’t know which show it will be done on. Pretty weird that we enjoy waiting to see which man is going to blubber like a baby on National T.V. for the whole entire world to see.

Hubby can’t stand watching either one of these shows, so it turns out to be a time for just her and I together with Hubby in the other room watching either the news or some kind of wrestling or boxing along with the dog to keep him company.

Looking forword to a slow week

I only am scheduled for two shifts this week at the mall, Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon, I’ve been lucky lately and haven’t worked a week-end for well over a month, so I guess I can’t complain too much.

My brother has emailed me that he has a PC for me and will coming up for a visit soon and bring it with so that he can set it up and hook it up, ready, set, go, 1,2,3 and all of that.  I guess it will be going onto the dining room table, we never use it to eat on anyway, maybe once a month, if that, we all sit down together.  At least I will be close to the kitchen, bathroom, front and back door, right smack dab in the middle of the house, easily accessible to everyone that is so dependent on me for every single little thing.  Oh my, I sound a bit resentful don’t I?

I hope the weather will be consistent this week, it needs to make up it’s mind if we are going to be hot or cold, wet or dry, I could plan my week a little better if I knew what to expect.  Guess we will find out the old fashioned way, wait and see.

Ms. Jinx – Pack rat

As I said earlier Ms. Jinx has lived in the same house for over sixty years of her life, raised a family of five, divorced her cheating husband in the eighties, has lost two of her children and now has numerous grandchildren coming and going all over the place.

Ms. Jinx is a pack rat, but at least she is orderly about it, boxes and boxes of stuff going way back in time, but it is all sorted, categorized, and labeled which makes the task of downsizing a bit easier.

She has been downsizing for the past couple of years, knowing that the move would come and she even had a few yard sales.  I think she needs to have another one and soon.

Hubby and I have been going over there when we can and help her sort and box and stack and lift and move and store and etc…………..

Homeowners confused by mortgages

I can totally understand why people would be confused now a days by all of the different kinds of mortgages that are being offered.  According to research that was done in the U.K., states that 2/3 of people claim that they would be confused and would find it extremely difficult to choose which mortgage would be best if they had to make their decision on it tomorrow.  This figure is somewhat alarming to me, but at the same time, it makes me feel as if I am not as stupid as I felt when I went through that same process 8 years ago.  Boy did I feel inadequate when we purchased our house and then once again when we refinanced a few years ago.  We muddled through but it was not what I would call a pleasant experience, but certainly worth it all in the end.

It seems the shaky economy is making homeowners from all around the world feel very uneasy about making the choice of which mortgage would be in their best interest.  Mortgage companies can be a bit intimidating but if the chance comes around in the near future that we would benefit from refinancing once again, I know this time that I will need to talk to a lot of people that I gratefully have access to – you know, a couple of friends and a few family members in the business. And I certainly would educate myself before even attempting to start talking with a lender.  And really now with the Internet we have all of that important information right at our fingertips and I would certainly make good use of it for such a huge investment such as home ownership.

Monday, ugh….

Had to stay home from work today, Hubby is still ill and we are having the coldest temperatures we’ve had all winter, think I’ll light a fire in the fireplace tonight. Got a call first thing this a.m. from the insurance company and they are sending a claims representative out today to check out the fallen tree in the back yard.  I’m not looking forward to going outside to the backyard in this freezing temperature withe him, and poor Hubby insists on getting bundled up so he can join us and ask questions also.  Looks like I will need plenty of chicken soup to get us through this one, hot chocolate for me though!
