Petting Zoo Adventure

I managed to corral the whole family into going to a wonderful Animal Park that is so much more than just a Petting Zoo, yesterday afternoon. The weather was perfect, the cost was minimal, was a nice long healty walk and a good time was had by all. It is located only 15 minutes down the road and I had been there 6 years ago or so and have been trying for all these years to get the family to go and enjoy all the interesting and entertaining animals that this place has to offer for the public to come and see.

We even purchased some of the feed that they sell by the bag, to feed to some of the animals that were allowed to be feed, many are on restricted diets and are discouraged from feeding them any type of food items at all. The sheep, goats, many varieties of deers, and the llama’s all feed greedily from our hands and it didn’t take long for the bags to become empty. Other animals that we enjoyed seeing were the several types of monkeys, bears, buffalo, a lion and his lioness, camels, exotic birds, a black panther and many more that I can’t even remember them all. I did however bring me camera and hopefully some of the many pictures will come out that we can put in our scrapbooks to remember the nice time we all had with the animals and nature.

Plush Amplifiers

When I hear the word plush I think of something that is extremely pricey. So when I found out that I could buy plush amplifier at musicians friend for less than $50, I was excited.  I really can’t afford a whole lot for numerous birthday presents that are up and coming in the month of September. The month of September and the month of March are chalk full of birthdays and anniversaries. As much as I try and budget for these extremely popular celebrations that require a gift there never seems to be enough to spread around as I would like it to.

Even $50 bucks is a bit more than I would like to spend on this particular gift for this particular family member, but I know how much he has been wanting one and I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he opens it up and realizes just what it is!

Online Brochure Printing

Last year was a brand new beginning for my oldest nephew after a long few years of absolute stress from school, and having a baby girl with his long time girlfriend since high school. Everything seemed like it wasn’t going to get any easier to my nephew, but one thing stuck in his mind to keep him going. He had always wanted to open up his own restaurant since he was a young boy, and worked hard through school to educate himself to do so.

His girlfriend was willing to help him do so at any cost and found her passion for interior and exterior decorating through out their relationship, so my nephew had asked her to be the one to decorate and design his restaurant. After they gathered enough money to put their plan into action, they started a hunt for a building to rent out or hopefully to rent to own, to open his restaurant in. It didn’t take long to find the perfect spot for them to do so in, and started right away with their plans.

After everything was set up and ready, they both came to me one evening while I was watching over their precious little girl, and had asked me for opinions on the cheapest but most effective way to get their menu out to everyone around their location. I had them sit at my computer with me to see what our options were, and after a long night of trying to compare options and prices we found brochure printing online, which is a perfect and not a costly way to get not only their menu out to everyone, but to get their new business name out and recognized.

Needless to say, that’s the route they took, and ever since their grand opening of their restaurant, their business has been booming. I’m glad that everything they worked hard for, is really taking off like no one ever expected, and I am so happy to lend a helping hand to them to help them provide for their beautiful little family.

Starting An Online Business

A few months ago my oldest daughter and I were talking about possibly creating our own online printing business and decided to give it a go. Friends and Music

An best friend of mine I went to school with through out middle and high school, came to visit us last summer and we had a blast reconnecting after so many years. We haven’t been able to see each other as frequently as we used to due to us moving to different states and both having families. She also has a daughter that is around my daughter age, who came along with her to visit us.

During their visit we talked about so many things, but one thing that got us had all of our interests is playing the guitar. Back in high school my friend and I played together after learning how to play by her brother and friends, that were in a garage band. Its the one thing that brought us closer over the years and now has brought not only us but our daughters closer together.

My best friend was working for a car dealership for 3 years and finally decided she wanted to change her career path up a little bit. Pool Heaters, A Great Idea

Last fall my hubby knew my birthday was coming up and he wanted to do something extreme that I have been wanting for the last 15 years we have been together. His plan was to make that it happen by installing an in-ground pool in our backyard with a hot tub. I unfortunately had a business trip I had to go to right before my birthday, but it ended up working out perfectly for my hubby’s surprise plans.

When I had left after taking our daughter to her grandparents house, he jumped on the opportunity to install an in-ground pool while I was on a business trip for 2 weeks. When I had arrived home, hubby wouldn’t let me even come close to the backside of the house so I couldn’t see what was back there. The next morning after we picked our daughter up he escorted us to the backyard with his hands covering my eyes and counted to three, when his hands dropped I couldn’t have been more surprised, impressed and so excited at the same time.

I have been so excited to finally go out to the back yard and take a dip in our own in-ground pool since last fall when my hubby installed it. We have been getting it ready for this upcoming summer and we just finished cleaning it last week and are now starting to talk about the possibility of a hot tub as well, but came to the conclusion that we simply couldn’t afford it.

Hubby had a clever idea for us to search on the net for pool heaters and we took an a beautiful spring evening to search for one for or pool. We came across a site that offers raypak pool heaters at an awesome price and it didn’t take log at all for us to find the perfect one for our pool. When it arrived, only 3 days later, hubby and a few of our friends had gathered in the backyard to install our new pool heater, and we now can enjoy our pool even on chilly days and/or evenings with no worries. Life is good.

An Ideal Birthday Idea For Hubby

Hubby has a birthday coming up in a few weeks and I was thinking of how is back is always giving him such trouble.  I seem to spend a good amount of time rubbing his back for him and I have to admit that it would be a relief not to spend so munch of my time on his aches and pains so that I can deal with my own issues, mainly menopause, ugh..

I’ve been told by several people of a company that sells the Human Touch Quality Massage Chairs, these chairs are said to replicate the proven techniques used by professional massage therapists and chiropractors and are great in providing back pain relief which Hubby desperately wants and needs on a daily and nightly basis.

This company uses the most advanced robotic massage technology and systems in their massage chairs and I like the fact that it is a whole chair, not just a pad that you put on top of your chair or couch to simulate the hands and techniques of full body massage like the expert massage professionals.

 Massage Chairs really looks like something Hubby would really enjoy and use, and maybe even share with me at times.

What happens in Las Vegas…well you know the rest

We still receive phone calls now and then from people that we knew from way back.  I love hearing from them, you never know what to expect from these phone calls.

Laurie and I go back 25 years or so, she was a bartender at the bar Hubby and I used to go to back in day.  She is now living and working as a card dealer in Las Vegas, while still going to college, and still has her son living with her.  She seems to have done pretty well and is in the process of looking into buying a condo and wanted us to look at the one Web site hone-lasvegas.com  and check it out.

These Las Vegas condos include five towers, each one is 18 to 20 stories high, with loads of spacious grounds which is guard gated, it looks like they offer all of the goodies that one would expect at such a beautifully landscaped residential community, such as spas, pool, boutiques, exercise and fitness rooms, I mean the whole kit and caboodle.

If she decides to purchase one I can’t wait to visit her and check it out my self. I have only been to Vegas once in my life and we were broke, not the best place to be when you are broke!

Reality Shows – A Bunch Of Nonsense

For the most part I don’t mind once in a while watching one of the many court room judge television shows, but I can tell you that I never, ever watch Divorce Court (how very depressing is that show) nor will I watch Judge Judy. That is one scary woman with a lot of attitude and a lot of power bestowed all onto one menopausal woman.  I can’t imagine allowing myself to be put on national television in front of God and everyone, to be belittled by this wacky woman and have her try my case for any reason what so ever.  As far as going on national television during a divorce, are you frigging nuts or what?

I don’t know anyone personally that has made an appearance or knows anyone who has. I can tell you that when and if I ever do I will have so many questions for them that I really want answers to. I have a relative, through marraige, who made an appearance on the Jerry Springer show about 5 years ago. I never got to see the episode, but hubby did and wasn’t impressed. It was all 100% nonsense. Our relative made the whole thing up and was urged to act “over the top” by the folks that got them on the show. That was a real eye opener as to what is really going on with many of these “reality shows” that people are enjoying more and more these days. I say that if you want to see what goes on in a court room, then get your butt down to your local courtroom and spend the day in the various courtrooms there!
