Real Estate App

This goconnect real estate app would have been a welcomed checklist tool back in the day when I was in the real estate business. I saw what was going on with our economy and ducked out while the pickens were good. That seems like a life time ago, but it really was only since 2007 when I stopped working full time and decided to stay home with the kids. Hopefully when the kids are both out of school and out of the house, the economy will have lifted up and read estate agents can get back to work and make a good honest living.

With all of the technology that still coming out there will be a lot more great tools that I can take advantage of when the time comes. I’m sure a lot of things will be different, but I think it will all come back to me, much like riding a bike!

An Email Hint From My Mother

My mother has been trying to talk Hubby and I into starting our own business for a few years now. She insists that we will get nowhere if we are working our butts off to line someone else’s pocket in the interim.

She sent me an email with some pretty interesting franchise information from a website called www.redhotfranchises.com, I must say they have a huge selection of business opportunities listed for review. Every kind of franchise you could imagine.

I did look it over and there are many that I find appealing but honestly I don’t think Hubby and I have the energy needed to start up something at this time. We still have our hand’s full with the kids and all of their needs seem to take up the majority of our time right now. But who is to say what the future has in mind for us, maybe one day we will take mom’s advice, but not this day. Right now my main concern is getting through the holidays and the start of a brand new year.

Thrift Stores Are The Way To Go For Winter Clothes

Each winter, no matter how hard I try and get the whole family prepared and outfitted for the nasty cold weather that we have to deal with, some one needs something. So tomorrow I’m heading out the door to the new A.S.P.C.A. Thrift Store that recently opened up here in town to pick up a few things. Going to look for some nice warm water proof boots for myself, my old ones just don’t cut it anymore and I don’t want to spend a lot of $$$.

I got a coupon in the mail for this new second hand store that benefits all the local animal population in so many ways, as you may know by now that coupons and I like each other.

My Brother and His Brood

My eldest brother who lives in the beautiful up state New York along with his second wife and their large brood of children, 5 all together, you know the typical, his, mine and ours kind of family. Hard times seem to be hitting all kinds of people all over, I had the impression that things were going fairly well with them until my mother filled me in otherwise.

He had sent her an email letting her and Dad know that they were going to file bankruptcy and have hired a well known New York bankruptcy lawyer services firm that came highly recommended by his manager at the company where he and his wife both work.

I hope big brother and his family will get through this all right, I worry about him sometimes, but that is what sisters do, at least ours do.

The Task Of Ordering Machine Handles Online

The days of running all over town, and sometimes needing to go to neighboring towns, to find items that are so easy to order Online such as the machine handles that Hubby is needing. It is worth waiting a few days for the items to arrive at our door and ready to go.  It took all of 7 minutes to find the perfect handles and they should be here in time for him to get what he needs to do with them.

Now I can move on to other tasks that need to be tackled. My “To Do List” is never ending and always changing. And to  think that the Christmas season is looming straight ahead at us. Actually I just looked up how long before Christmas comes and it tells me it is 77 more sleeps, which equals ten weeks. OMG, makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

Hubby love his knives, all kinds of knives, between he and his Dad they must have over a thousand of them, must be a “guy thing.” I must admit that some of them are pretty spectacular and I have learned quiet a lot about them since being exposed to them as much as I am.

Memory Foam Pet Beds

It is never easy to see your pet(s) aging. There are so many health issues that come along with owning any type of pet throughout their whole life span, but when they get so old that you can see how they are suffering, it is a real bummer. Our 9 year old Pug is starting to show signs of aging and the pain that goes along with that. I have done all that I can for him, even purchased memory foam pet beds to make it more comfortable for him during his waking hours.

Alfred Guitar Tablature Online

We were so tickled to find that they have found a teacher to teach the guitar at my kid’s junior high school. There has been such a demand from students the past couple of years to teach the guitar that their persistence finally paid off and there is no a lot of anxious kids ready to learn. I found a good Alfred Guitar Tablature at musician’s friend online along with various other musical sites that the Internet can now bring to any kid who has Internet access anything that they can dream of in an unlimited variety of options.

I wish that I had taken some type of lessons back when I was a kid. I would love to be able to have what it takes to make music. It’s such a great talent that I admire in anyone that plays any type of instrument.

Researching Homeowners Insurance Rates

The money that we shell out every month for our current homeowners insurance rates is really getting out of hand. This next up and coming weekend I plan on researching online other insurance company rates and see what I can come up with that will help reduce the amount of money that goes out each and every month. With the thought in mind that Christmas is really right around the corner I am getting anxious about how we are going to manage purchasing all of the gifts that we are obligated to hand out each holiday season.

I’ve been trying to cut back in any way that I can and the Internet is a great tool to help me with the overwhelming tasks required to make our budget a bit easier to tackle.

Something that would make a good gift for anyone who is left responsible for the cleaning and the upkeep in their residence, would be to have a professional house cleaning service come in to have a good cleaning. It could be a once time luxury or for any length of time that the gift giver decides upon and how much money they want to invest.

I mean let’s face it, at some point in your life there are gift giving occasions that something like this would be appropriate and appreciated. Although I have a feeling that if I were to do something like this that the person would think that I thought that she wasn’t a good house keeper!

I myself wouldn’t have a problem with the other woman house cleaning services. In fact I would welcome it. It sure is better than getting more body lotions and oils that seem to find their way to me a lot. I have more lotions and potions that I would or could ever use in one lifetime. Those gifts end up being re-gifted to some other sucker, more often than not!
