Susan Boyle knuckled under and got herself a makeover. Here is a before and after photo that I found. She says that she just went to the local village beauty shop and only paid about $50 for the cut and color. That’s less than it would cost here, so good for her!
Everyone is talking about poor Susan Boyle needing a makeover. She is that wonderful singer who showed up in Britain’s version of American Idol and looked so frumpy that everyone was sneering. Then she started to sing and everyone was astonished and embarrassed at themselves for being such snobs.
Now a group of smarty pants has given Susan a digital makeover with the pointed suggestion that she needs to fix her hair like this. I say, don’t do it, Susan! Stay true to yourself and don’t turn shallow like the rest of Hollywood!
I hope you have a Hoppy Easter, today. If the Easter Bunny finds your house, save some candy for me! I miss having little kids around to hunt for Easter Eggs and share their candies.
Tonight I discovered the “on demand” feature of my cable TV serivce. I usually watch things according to their scheduled broadcast times, but tonight I was bored with repeats and nothing good to watch. So I tried the on demand button and found all kinds of things to entertain myself!
I watched 2 oldie but goodie movies that I have not seen in years and really enjoyed the way I could start the show at a time convenient to me and not be a slave to the schedule that some Hollywood network schmucks decided was best for them and their advertisers. Take THAT, Hollywood executives!
Every once in a while I catch the Cafferty File on CNN and he always cracks me up. He can be so sarcastic and insulting, with such a sincere hangdog look on his face! He talked about the Presidential Race today, mostly insulting VP Candidate Palin. Although he make a lot of pointed barbs at Palin, his point was well taken. McCain could have picked anyone else from a large field of qualified people but chose Palin. That will probably be his downfall, which is a real shame. McCain would make a great President but that requires solid judgement and he is not demonstrating the ligh levels that we need. His choice of an inferior running mate was made for all the wrong reasons and, like Cafferty, I think that will cost him the election next week.
All the TV crime shows are so interesting and full of crime solving information. I hope that the information they provide in the shows is correct. Like, in CSI, they mentioned that every crime has a “Trinity”
So, I wonder if the police really use that term or is that something the writer’s made up to sound cool? I love the CSI shows because they are always talking about technical details and police lino that sound real.
