A friend told me that Easter Monday is celebrated in Canada. That makes me feel guilty that our good neighbors to the North have some holidays and celebrations that we don’t even know about or acknowledge. I’m sure they have several other holidays, like their own “Independence Day” or their own “Thanksgiving” and I’ve never paid any attention at all. That is so selfish of us, but I think it is also very American, in an unflattering way.

My girlfriend, Diana, just sent me a text that she and Jeremy are engaged! How wonderful for her, and for him!
I know she has been dating this guy since her senior year in college. They wanted to wait and get their own careers established before making that big commitment. So I guess that now everything is really working out well for them both and they have decided to take the next big step. Congrats, Diana and Jeremy!

I love getting free stuff – this is a really convenient and affordable way to watch movies.
