The mood is good around our house today. It took a little longer to get everyone up than I expected, but we finally started to unwrap the presents. After all the small talk and comparisons of our gifts, I think that everyone is happy with their gifts. I got the usual pants, ties, and belts and everyone got their usual toys and electronics.
Soon we will all gather in the kitchen and start the typical Christmas meal. We are having turkey with all the trimmings and my favorite deviled eggs. We are blessed this year as everyone is healthy and were able to gather at the house. We got some phone calls from those who were not able to attend.
