Speaking of plus sized clothes, I love clothes. Yes I’m a plus size girl but if you look around, there are far more plus sized women than there are those tiny little things. Men used to prefer a woman with a full figure because as my grandfather used to say, ‘You don’t have to shake the sheets to find them.’ He must not have had to ever do that with Grandma because they had 10 children.
All of this talk about the swine flu has really got me worried. The last thing any of us here needs is something like that and then give it to everyone else in my place. That would be awful. Especially since one of my girls is expecting. The last thing I would want is for her baby to look like this just because she got swine flu while she was pregnant.
I know it…………..I’m awful aren’t I? Well you gotta admit it’s funny!!
Living in New Orleans, we don’t really need a reason to dress up in a costume to celebrate. It’s common place here as many of you know. But since Halloween will be here before you know it, I thought I might let you in on something really neat I found. Halloween is not just for children. Adults like to dress up too you know. Well I found some plus size costumes that look great. Not everyone is a size ‘nothing’ you know and at least this site realizes that and helps us full figured girls out.
Everyone knows one of the most fun parts of dressing up for a celebration like Halloween, is getting to wear wigs . You can be anyone you want with a wig on. I have always wanted long blond hair even though my hair is almost black and you can even find a long blond wig on here. Really I have always wanted to dress as Lady Godiva but that wouldn’t work at my age. I’ll just have to stick with Marilyn Monroe or Mortisha is more like it in all reality. Okay, I’ll come clean, Grandma-ma from the Adams family is more like what I would look like today but that’s okay. I can still enjoy the costumes.
Since I have discovered YouTube, I have been having a blast checking out some of the video’s they have on there. One things for sure, if you need a laugh, you’ll surely find it on there or if you’re looking for your favorite song, it’s probably on there too.
Who ever came up with YouTube must have loved AFV because there are a lot of video’s on there that you might have seen on that TV show. Anyway, check it out sometime and I bet you’ll be hooked too.
I haven’t always been so self sufficient. There have been several times in my life when I had to live from paycheck to paycheck. Those days weren’t much fun either. God help you if an unexpected expenditure came up like you got sick and had to go to the doctor and miss work. What if your car breaks down? That can really cost a small fortune to repair.
